What are the facial differences between a Chinese and a Japanese person? ?

I always wonder this...and i know that most people are gonna say that japanese people are paler, have slantier, bigger eyes and chinese have bulbier noses and rounder faces. But before that, i just want to say that there's this japanese band called Morning Musume and there are 2 Chinese girls in it. I saw a picture of them and those two blend in really well. You can't tell which one is Chinese and which is Japanese (unless u know what their face looks like)What are the facial differences between a Chinese and a Japanese person? ?
I'm a Chinese and I've seen no facial difference between us and the Japanese. Many times even I can't recognize a Japanese if he/she doesn't speak. Things like Japanese are paler...Chinese have bulbier noses..blabla are all false. I have both Chinese and Japanese friends, and they all have the same facial characters except that quite a few Japanese people like dying their hair into lighter colors. What are the facial differences between a Chinese and a Japanese person? ?
Chinese and Japanese people look different from one another. Chinese people are more taller than japanese people.(Northern chinese people tend to be taller than southern chinese people.) Also japanese girls have a more chubbier face and some like a triangular head.. Japanese girls tend to have bigger eyes than chinese people. Chinese people also tend to be darker than japanese(depending on what part they're from.)Also Chinese women have higher, more prominent cheek bones than Japanese women. I also notice japanese women with more yayoi in them have bigger teeth, compared to japanese women who have more jomon in them.

I dunno how else to describe..i'm gonna guess which one's are chinese haha

http://www.myizzywizzy.com/pictures/othe鈥?/a>

i'm gonna say the one to the far right(With the black dress with green, yellow and white stripe things) and the one with black dress with her arm on her shoulder, next to the girl with the blue dress both look like chinese girls.(are they the ones you are talking about?). They just look different than the other girls. the other girls besides the 2 I was pointing out..see how they have a more chubbier facecompared to the other two?

Hope I helped =D
this is zinnySTARR btw...for some reason i've forgotten my username/password so im using my OTHER account

actually, kanako93, your wrong. well ONE of those girls is right (the far right one) but the second one is actually the really tall one (third from the left). So not all Chinese have rounder faces.
They actually do look a little different, Japanese people tend to be a lot smaller and shorter.
Nothing.
Gosh!! they all look the same to me ;)
nothing they all look the same

  • How will my facial structure change after getting braces taken off?

i'm getting the braces put on tomorrow because i have a crossbite, currently my face is a bit asymmetrical and i have a round chin that somewhat recedesHow will my facial structure change after getting braces taken off?
a round chin is hot (from a guys pov)

no one wants an ugly pointy chin, and braces wont give you that thank god.. but they did thin my girlfriends face SLIGHTLY

the crossbite fixing might fix the receding chin but im not sure. How will my facial structure change after getting braces taken off?
YES! I had braces for 6 years. My lips def. got bigger (which isnt a bad thing), and my cheeks as well got a little bigger. Nothing dramatically different though!

Waxing/Tweezing/Depilatories do not make your hair grow back darker or thicker. It is a myth.

Why do I randomly get burning sensations in my facial cheeks?

For the last couple months, I randomly will start to feel one of my cheeks beginning to burn. It's never both of them at the same time but it does happen to both of them. When I start to feel it, I'll look in a mirror to find that the burning spot is red and sometimes a weird bump in the form of a line appears. It's not painful, just kind of irritating. I'm wondering is it's anything serious...?Why do I randomly get burning sensations in my facial cheeks?
Well I would definitely tell my doctor about it. I have never heard of it.

If it just happend once, I would say probably an allergic reaction, but if it happens randomly with no reason I am stumped.

Is there a facial mask that can be used safely overnight?

For my daughter's halloween costume she would like to go as a ';Spa Girl';. She wants to dress in a spa robe, slippers, terban and facial mask. Most masks that I have seen are only to be worn for a very short time but she needs to wear it to school for a few hours. Any suggestions? Is there a facial mask that can be used safely overnight?
go out and buy some of that face paint most children use for witches, vampires, ect. you can usually find it in a light green, and it normally washes off very easily. i got it last year for homecoming, and one tube costs me only 99 cents.

or, if you can only find white, putting a little bit of lime jello in the mix can help tint it.Is there a facial mask that can be used safely overnight?
i would suggest that she uses something else.... maybe a different color lotion.. a facemask isn't going to hurt staying on for that long.. but it's not going to stay... you might even want to go and get some facepaint, and just paint on a face mask
Green icing (lol),green paint (used for halloween you can find it at a halloween store or CVS) dont mix food coloring with white icing because she'll have a green face for like 2 days XDDD good luck!
I agree with lex....go for the face paintin instead of a mask on young skin that dont need it
sunscreen but don't rub it in.

No, not that I'm aware of as hysterectomy is not a cure for PCOS but I have the link to a site that has a messageboard that could help you find more information.

I have a Palmers Natual Bronze cream, will it work if I put it on my face or do I need to buy something else?Palmers natutal bronze tan cream - does it work for facial tan?
Jergens has a whole different formula for your face. Just to be on the same side I would use that. Althought I don't think it would to that much harm to your face if it doesn't make the rest of your body orange.Palmers natutal bronze tan cream - does it work for facial tan?
i'm pretty sure they make a facial tan cream.. it'd be more gentle on the facial skin.

i wouldn't risk putting a body tanner on your face, you might get the wrong colour.

never ever sit in the sun.. unless you want to risk skin cancer
It'll make your face orange. If you want to look orange, then go ahead.

Maybe smear a light layer of baby oil on your face and lay in the sun for 10 minutes...?

  • Why is my facial hair growing in patches?

I waxed once and it seemed to have grown thicker. I did notice that possibly threading might have made a difference to my face. But I only tried in a small area.I have facial hair and what is the best way to remove it?
I would suggest you to use '; MySpring It'; - facial hair removing tool. Its just like threading but you can do it yourself. Its actually a spring bar that removes your facial hair from its roots without damaging your skin. Moreover its cheap (just around 15 bucks), reusable (up to 6 months) and portable. I give it thumbs up!I have facial hair and what is the best way to remove it?
for upper lip, Finishing Touch is really good! Cheap, and it doesn't hurt one bit! I love it! =)

What do steriods do to your head and facial structure?

do steriods make your head big? jaw grow out? cheek bones grow? what does it do?What do steriods do to your head and facial structure?
You will look more Ape-like...my friend used to juice a lot, and his brow ridge sloped forward significantly. his ears bend forward, and his jaw line is much more pronounced. not to mention it makes ppl a hell of a lot more aggressive!!! be smart, don't juice! What do steriods do to your head and facial structure?
Don't do steroids, they shrink the boys, and they will destroy ur body. Roids r for cheaters who r too lazy to do the work. Be smart, it's so obvious when ppl juice.
Im going to be 100% honest with you, it will make you look older, more mature, and better looking, that is... as long as you dont have any side effects but i really wouldnt recomend taking steroids

Certain androgenic/anabolic steroids can make the jaw muscles stronger %26amp; more apparent. They may make the face seem a little wider.
the most common thing it does is give you SERIOUS acne on face, arms, and back.

    its pretty sickening.
    make you ugly.

    don't do it, be smart.
if you put steroids in your head you get smarter

Is waxing facial hair dangerous for a guy?

If a guy waxes his face rather than shaving, will the hairs really grow back thicker? Can your face really cave in without the hair there? I wonder because i searched this question and found different results. Is waxing facial hair dangerous for a guy?
well im not an expert but i can tell you this, it really doesn't matter if your a girl or a guy to wax your face what matters is maybe your facial hair is thicker than the ones in a woman's face, so it might make you bleed a little or it might hurt a lot more. I say that you should go to a salon and ask a professional about thatIs waxing facial hair dangerous for a guy?
Nope. Waxing is ok for a guy. You definitely dont have to worry about your face caving in :) Waxing makes the hair come back thinner and lighter rather than thicker and darker and it lasts a lot longer than shaving.
hahahahahahaha ... why would your face cave in? PMSLOLMAO
    it fine to wax

Whats the best way to get rid of facial redness?

I haven't had any major acne in a while, but my face is somewhat redder than is should be. Whats the best way to alleviate this redness quickly?Whats the best way to get rid of facial redness?
Physicians Formula ';Self Defense'; Moisturizer! it's a green lotion about $10 and you just use a tiny bit as a moisturizer on your face and rub it in in small strokes and it takes away a lot of the redness in your face without leaving a visible green cast. Look for it at drugstores in the Physicians Formula section in a small bottle (green lotion visible inside) with a white top. it should really help!Whats the best way to get rid of facial redness?
Well it could be a result of something you used that you could be allergic to or a reaction of a new product. Try using an oil-free moisturizing wiht no fragrance and if that doesn't work then you should consult a dermatologist for the cause of it.
i use bare minerals and it helped clear my acne and cover up and marks or redness. if you want something a little cheaper, try almay power foundation. it helps balance skin plus a good cover. you should also see a dermatologist just to be sure its nothing else but a little redness from acne, etc. good luck! =)
    foundation or a dermatologist
Try using a toner in your skin care regimen. It comes after your face wash, but before your moisturizer.

  • Would you ever employ someone with facial piercings and facial tattoos?

And if not could they sue for some or other ism?Would you ever employ someone with facial piercings and facial tattoos?
I can honestly say that an applicant who has excessive facial piercings or tattoos will get little consideration for employment from me. However, their ability to sue would be nil because ultimately the reason cited for not hiring them would be because there was a more qualified applicant. Since piercings and tattoos are a choice by individuals it would be hard to challenge hiring decisions as a matter of traditional discrimination. Most companies have dress code standards which are enforced. They are not considered discrimination because they are applied equally to all employees.Would you ever employ someone with facial piercings and facial tattoos?
I read the question to be about people who have facial piercings AND facial tattoos, rather than just one or the other.

If that's the case, I think there are basically two types of people who go in for this:

    1) Brain dead knuckleheads who do it to look ';well 'ard';

    2) Intelligent, quirky people who are artistic by nature and see the body as a canvas upon which to express themselves

People in category 1 are obviously unemployable.

People in category 2 would certainly be employable in a creative or artistic role (something in the media for example), but I wouldn't employ them in a customer-facing role.

As for suing for discrimination - I don't think so, no. It is a person's choice as an adult to get facial tattoos and piercings, and I'm pretty sure no-one does it without realising that it will severely limit their career choices.
I have my lip pierced and I have never had trouble getting good jobs in highly reputable companies. I have many important meetings with external suppliers and directors and it has never impaired my career.

I don't wear my jewelry at work and so it's never been a problem. If people ask I'm honest and say yes, I have a piercing and outside of work i wear it.

If someone chose not to hire me because I wore the jewelry at the interview I completely understand, it's their choice. But as a whole most progressive companies are OK with it (i'm not required to take mine out at all)
If I ran a lawn service, a roofing business, a tattoo shop, a auto salvage yard, a motorcycle shop, a bail bond service, a hair salon or needed musicians, artist or painters, yes. If I was looking to heir an attorney, a banker, a CEO an administrator, a real estate agent a medical doctor, it is highly doubtful I would heir someone who made those choices.
    I might. It depends.

For a customer-facing position in a professional environment... no, I wouldn't. And that would be completely legal.

I might well hire them for unseen work, like working in a warehouse or something.
No you can't sue if an employer does not employ people with tattoos or piercings.

Would I personally employ someone with them, only for roles that have no face to face contact with clients.
    Probably not.

    How could they prove in court that was the reason they weren't hired. All you have to say is, ';We hired a candidate with better qualifications.';
If they are the face of the company, like a bank or law firm or something no. If their job really doesn't require any face to face interaction, who cares as long as they are good at their job?
So long as they're not black...only kidding

If they were in a client facing role, then I would be against employing them, otherwise, they're in.
No chance at all. I would not subject my customers to this truly vile fashion.

If you take offence at that well i'm only being honest.
Not if they were dealing with the public..

I think my pet hates are tattoes and piercings i'm just not sure in which order
it depends on the job if I owned a facial piercing and tattoo parlour I may just hire them
if they do the job who cares. they could sue you ...whether they'd win or not is another issue
Only if they are tucked away some way
    No... to both questions

Why does facial hair grow back thicker after you shave?

I have noticed also that letting an area grow for a while and then shaving (i.e. goatee) will result in thicker growth in that area too. How does this happen? Why does facial hair grow back thicker after you shave?
There may be an illusion of thicker hair, because the hair shaft is thicker towards the base than the tip, and the new growth may have a slightly greater diameter at the tip. But there is no scientific evidence to support a connection between shaving and thicker hair; otherwise Lex Luthor would be shaving his head 24 hours a day!Why does facial hair grow back thicker after you shave?
It doesn't grow back thicker, it comes back coarser and at an angle so it looks and feels thicker when its really the same. Hair is genetic, no matter how much you shave it won't grow back thicker or darker.
your hair doesnt grow back thicker, it grows back coarse because of the angle that it grows and when you shave it.

the folicle eventually becomes fine because of the ellements working against it. (your hand, your face rubbing up against your pillow at night, and even wind)
    Nope , urban myth
I doesn't. The end has now been cut off so when it clears the skin the second time it is a thicker section of the same hair. After it grows out a little the end (once exposed to rubbing and air and soap and water... will start to smooth or break a little giving a thinner end again... All you are seeing is the unprotected end looking thinner from normal wear and time. The one just breaking the surface will get that way also given a few days to wear.
This is with all hair that is shaved...it grows back thicker because you shave off the very fine end...the hair then grows back the same thickness as the root. In order to get the fine hair back, the whole root of each hair has to be removed, which is why waxing is much better than shaving.

    and its darker

Ladies, this is kind of a strange question, but how do you rid yourself of facial hair?

I'm not a beast by any means, but I have little white hairs all over and some darker ones here and there. I want to have a really smooth face, but I don't want to wait until it all grows out everytime, to have it waxed. What do you do?Ladies, this is kind of a strange question, but how do you rid yourself of facial hair?
You can shave it with those little electric razors if it isn't too bad or you can use wax or cream hair remover. The cream hair remover can irritate your skin if you leave it on too long. Also, make sure you get one that's specifically made for the face. Good luck.Ladies, this is kind of a strange question, but how do you rid yourself of facial hair?
    tweezers
if i were you, i would grow it into a beard or a mustashe.
No, don't remove your facial hair. It will just grow more and more. Then, you'll have like two or three hairs growing out of the same hair follicle. The skin on the face is more sensitive than the skin on the other parts of the body, so there is a chance for irritation and rosacea looking redness.
    wax it
    wax works best, dont shave
I have a hormonal imbalance which causes me to grow abnormally thick, dark hair on my chin. I've been shaving it. Not a good idea, because it's very irritating and the skin has already started to toughen a bit. I've tried waxing but it didn't work. Time to save up for electrolysis!
    shave it i guess
The little facial hair razors work well. It's NOT like shaving, the hairs do not grow back prickley. The blade does not get close enough to the skin. It helps and I just do slight touch ups once a week.

Tweezers also help for certain spots. I find it painful though...lol

    Good luck!

What is the difference between face wash and facial scrub?

a facial wash is smooth, usually cream textured. Facial scrubs have some kind of grit in them that is used to exfoliate more dead skin cells than a wash. If you have skin that is prone to break outs, most dermatologist recommend using a face wash only, not a scrub. Face scrubs can irritate the skin and make it more prone to break outs. What is the difference between face wash and facial scrub?

What is the difference between face wash and facial scrub?
Face wash cleans oil/dirt from your face by using chemicals such as soap. (Uses a solvent to dissolve the dirt/oil)

Facial scrub cleans oil/dirt from your face by using exfoliants, such as ground up walnut shells or microbeads. (Uses small rough particles to scrape away oil/dirt %26amp; dead skin)
A facial scrub has some kind of grainy stuff in it to exfoliate the skin and to clear the pores better than the regular face wash. Regular face wash doesn't have the scrubbies. It's a good thing to use a facial scrub at least once a week. It will keep your skin nice and soft. You should try Bert's bees peach facial scrub, too. Since I've been using that my skin has been amazing. :-)
a face wash is used instead of a soap. it keeps da skin soft unlike soaps. wheras a facial scrub is used 2 deeply cleanse da skin. it brings a glow 2 da skin.face scrub shud b used only once in a week.
A facial scrub has grit in it to clean the stuff out of your pores and remove dead skin. Face wash lacks that, but it is not as drying as bath soap.
lol Love the name. Facial wash just washes the surface of your skin. A scrub has microbeads which exfoliate (removes dead skin on the surface) of your face.
A face wash washes dirt from the surface of your skin but a facial scrub removes dead skin from your face, leaving behind new, smooth skin after that. However, facial scrubs should only be used at most twice a week as using it unecessarily would removes good skin and would cause harm to it.
A wash is generally clear and watery, makes lather and has some kind of soap and/or salycilic acid.

Facial scrubs are thick, creamy and have a grainy texture. They are used to exfoliate (get rid of dead skin cells) and do not do a very good job of cleaning the skin, so you need a wash too.
Facial scrubs are a little harsher-they contain exfoliants which help remove dead skin. face wash can be used daily, whereas a scrub should only be used once or twice a week.
Face wash cleanses your skin. A facial scrub also exfoliates. You only should use a facial scrub about once a week, using it too often can damage your skin.
facal wash comes in a cream or foam and is for cleansing. a scrub has exfoliant beads in it and is for bumping all the dead skin cells off your face to uncover you new beautiful layer of skin, and helps to prevent acne and blackheads, because that dead skin sitting over top of your pores is what traps dirt in your pores in the first place.
Also, if you have acne or sensitive skin be sure to use a scrub with beads, rather than chunks of rough exfoliators (Like St. Ives Apricot Scrub). I like the Neutrogena Deep Clean Daily Scrub- it's really gentle and gets the job done.
wash is light on the face and scrub feels like graining substance on skin which removes top dead layer of skin.
Face wash is more like soap.Face scrub is more abrasive and normally has some kind of sea salt for scrubbing.
    face wash cleans your face.

face scrub exfoliates (helps get rid of dead skin) as it cleans but can irritate acne

I have facial hair growing around my upper cheeks. Would an epilator remove them?

I have facial hair around both of my upper cheeks. These are areas where men don't usually have any hair growing (I've looked at quite a lot of pictures of people who even have beards, this region is higher than that). electrolyze is the best way and done by a professional. it usually runs about $20 and up a visit and provide you haven't done any tweezing or creams or waxing the less visits you'll have to make. it usually takes about a couple of visits depending on your situation.I have facial hair growing around my upper cheeks. An epilator would be PAINFUL. I think your best option is to go to a salon and get it waxed.... =)

What is it like for girls to see facial hair on men and us men to see on a woman?

It hard to explain but what is it like for a girl to see facial hair on men and what would it be on woman that is similar to facial hair is what im trying to say if this makes sense lol? What is it like for girls to see facial hair on men and us men to see on a woman?
I'm not a woman, so I can't answer the first question. Although I was watching a clip from TV Guide called ';TV's Top 100 Sexiest Men of All Time'; and number 1 was Tom Selleck (from ';Magnum, P.I.';). When they started talking about him, all the females said ';the mustache makes the man!'; Also at number 6 was Don Johnson (from ';Miami Vice';), and he was quite famous for going unshaven for days at a time and many women found that attractive.

I am a heterosexual man, so I can answer the second question for you. Quite frankly, it's disgusting. Sorry, but my natural reaction to something like that is quite revolting. What is it like for girls to see facial hair on men and us men to see on a woman?
I don't like to see any type facial hair on a man except maybe a five o' clock shadow, but it only depends on if the man can pull it off. Facial hair, for me, takes the attention away from the guys face, so I only focus on the facial hair. It is like when you see a pretty girl wearing too much make-up, and the only thing you focus on is her eyeliner smudges or her clumping mascara. Those kind of things distracts me from looking at their natural beauty.
I love a good ';moustache ride'; and a full beard. I don't judge women if they have facial hair. I've worked with some that did. It was their heritage.

To me, a clean shaven face hurts when it starts to grown back out. It feels like sandpaper to me and I have a sensitive face.
I like some facial hair, maybe a small beard, goatee, or 5 o clock shadow, but mustaches are DISGUSTING. I'm guessing the facial hair on a man to a woman is what makeup is on a woman to a man... if that makes any sense?
    definetely the vanity...

fake nails, amount of makeup, fake hair or high maintanence...

    natural or fake pretty muchXD

and i enjoy my mans facial hair but too much is like ';ouch!!!'; but a bit is adorable *sigh*XD
I worked with a woman who had a full beard. She had a five o'clock shadow everyday. It was hilarious.
i prefer guys with a bit of facial hair, i like the goatee look best %26amp; the 5 o clock shadow! im not really into clean cut preppy guys!!
I can not stand any facial hair on guys tbh

  • Ladies, which is the most effective brand of facial moisturizer?

Regardless of the price, which facial moisturizer is the best? I want to start using one.Ladies, which is the most effective brand of facial moisturizer?
go to the mall and look at the clinique products. They are wonderful to use and the products last foreverLadies, which is the most effective brand of facial moisturizer?
That depends on what your skin type is. If you have dry skin, I'd recommend one of Arbonne's moisturizers, such as the rejuvenating. They are highly concentrated and contain no mineral oils. If you have oily skin, I'd recommend just a daily dose of aloe vera gel, such as Fruit of the Earth.
I want to watch the commercials.
I've tried tons of different moisturizers and believe it or not if you don't have extremely greasy skin to begin with using a bit of vaseline is the best i have ever used, I use spectro gel to clean my face and rub in atiny bit of vaseline and people think i am like 15 years younger than i am
I prefer to use Dove facial moisturizer, Day Creme. It comes in a jar that is small and compact, but there is a lot of creme in it. It works very well, and the moisturizer creme is thick, but it smooths on lightly and feels great. No sticky residue, either. I have normal skin, and it provides the perfect amount of moisture, while people that have any skin types such as oily skin, or dry skin can use it too. The Dove Facial Moisturizer Day Creme is a wonderful buy, and it does not clog your pores and it is oil-free too. After using it, your skin simply feels a lot better than before. It also provides sun protection with SPF 15 so you won't have to worry about putting sunscreen on your face. I highly reccomend this product.
it really depends on your face. i have moderately oily skin. the ones that i have used that work are the velocity moisturizer from mary kay and clean and clear oil-free moisturizer. they work just fine for me.
What a friend recommended to me about six months ago has worked better than all the $20 - $30 products in the stores for that express purpose, wrinkle removers, night creams, numerous lotions too vast to name them all... I've tried at least 35 brands... wasted my money really.

What I use now, only lightened my pocketbook by $9, and it has been the best investment in my beauty, ever.

It is Gold Bond's ';Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion'; It is sitting very modestly with all the other lotions, but it has been mis stocked in my opinion. It is a very well kept secret, for it has never been sold out when I go back to buy more.

A tip: Buy the bigger $9 bottle, it lasts nearly forever, it doesn't take much at all to reap rewards either.

I also use it on my feet, hands, knees and elbows... my neck and any other spots that seem to need nourishment.

It is fantastic, and in the short time I have used it, I've seen remarkable results. All the deep grooves and lines caused over time have spread out and are nearly invisible now, not to mention that my face feels so soft, so nice. I have gotten numerous compliments on how much younger I look now, and asked what I've done differently.

So I'm sharing this newfound knowledge with you, that you might pass it on to someone else... such is the way of kindness.

Have a Happy New Year, and I hope you find the answer you are looking for!

Do you thin most men look better with facial hair or cleaned shaved and why?

We were given whiskers because it is a natural part of our genetic make up and we shave our faces bald. I think a well groomed beard and mustache looks so much better than a bare face. Mens top lips look funny to me without mustaches.Do you thin most men look better with facial hair or cleaned shaved and why?
Absolutely much better with facial hair, unless the facial hair is so thin an uneven it just looks scruffy.

Some women would prefer men look like little boys...never understood that myself.Do you thin most men look better with facial hair or cleaned shaved and why?
My hubby has a beard and a mustache..and I asked him to grow it..I like it! I think that he looks very sweet!! LOL!
    I like a little stubble.
It is really a cultural thing. Look at how we accept the scruffy look on movie stars, and the mustaches on police. I think shaving is an effort to be less threatening to other men, women and children. I'm sure that guys with large beards are at least a little more intimidating than their clean-shaven brothers. Personally, the beard is so scratchy! Many women develop bad acne from kissing guys with scratchy beards, and the beard harbors germs. The family of a guy with a beard is sicker than a family without a beard, but the bearded man is healthier.
I like the scruffy look. But I think I like cleanly shaved is the best. I don't like facial hair on guys under 25
    Shaved bald is way cooler.

    http://www.bofads.com/stories/bald.htm
    clean shave
my husband has a moustache and beard. It works for him. All people are different. I couldn't imagine my husband without his facial hair, he would look naked or bald as you say !!!
i think it depends on the shape of a guys face. or on his personality. on some face shapes, it can look really hot but on others, sometimes it just looks like he is dirty and ungroomed even if he grooms it.
I like a clean shaved face personally.
Personally i don't like beards and mustaches but saying that i think stubble (if that's what u wanna call is :S lol ) well i think a guy with that is beautiful.
i like cleaned shaved better too because it makes the person look sophisticated and like organized. with facial hair....it just looks tacky. i kinda think its gross.

What is a good way to do a facial at home?

My skin is very silky yet very sensitive, if I get tired, it is affected, and it is mild, not dry, not oily. What is a good way to do a facial at home?
    1. for starters, drink 8 glasses of water per day and add a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice in each glass.

    2. For a good facial, u need to steam ur face, a mask, exfoliator, toner, glycerin soap, moisturizer.

-first thing u need to do is wash ur face with glycerin soap and make sure ur face is clean.

-steam ur face, whether with a steamer or a tea kettle.

-pat face dry. put mud mask on ur face. leave on until it dries.

-clean sink and fill it up with warm water. splash face with water until u wash off the mud mask from ur face.

-pat face dry. exfoliate and scrub face with a small portion. put a small portion in the palm of ur hand, put some water on it, and lather it on ur face like u r washing ur face. also do ur neck.

-clean sink and fill it up with clean warm water again. splash face until u clean off the exfoliator.

-pat face dry. put some toner on cotton pad and wipe face clean with it.

-if ur face is dry, put some moisturizer at the end.

    Relax.

do this at the end of the day to wash of ur makeup and relax at night before u sleep. What is a good way to do a facial at home?
    You've got normal, sensitive skin.

A good facial would be something mild, which gently cleanses (ie nothing acidic, like lemon based masks).

Often homemade ones from totally natural foods work better, some things are good for skin on the outside as well as in! But you can use shop bought ones if you choose the right one. Read the small print, and look for the word 'hypoallergenic', which means it won't irritate your skin.

Leave dairy based masks on for 20/30 minutes, and other masks 10/20 minutes. Good homemade masks for sensitive/normal skin:

    - Cucumber has calming properties. Whiz some in a blender.

    - Natural yogurt reduces any irritation on skin....

    - .... as do egg whites. Let it dry on your face, then rinse it off.

    - Milk and uncooked oatmeal mixed together, microwaved slightly. Both contain calming ingredients.

    - Mix 3tbsp mayonnaise and one teaspoon of natural green tea brewing. We can get the benefits of green tea from applying it to our skin. It's gentle, soothing and gives skin a shine. (Leave 20 mins)

Can acne cream change the color of your facial hair?

I have recently started growing a beard and a majority of my beard is orange. I have dark hair and nobody in my family that I know has orange hair. I have heard that it is possible that my acne cream could be the reason why. I use the CVS brand compared to Clearasil acne cream. Can acne cream change the color of your facial hair?
if your using any acne product with Benzoyl Peroxide in it ( look on the back of the bottle and it will say whats in it), it can do that, it has bleach in it so some people do have that happen to them there eyebrows or facial hair light up a bit, like iv been using acne stuff for a while and i personally think my eyebrows have lightened up some, but most acne products have Benzoyl Peroxide, So you might need to find something to use with out that in itCan acne cream change the color of your facial hair?
well maybe there are some chemical stuff in it you know . try something with herbal ingredient in it. It might be better for you.

Can a facial leave marks on your face?

I want a facial, but I am afraid of getting scars or marks on my face. I have sensitive skin. What do you guys suggest? Is there a type of facial for my type of skin?

    And about the marks.....

How long do they stay on your face for?

How do you get rid of them? Can a facial leave marks on your face?
A qualified and experience aesthetician will know how to handle your skin, even if it is sensitive. Regular facials are ABSOLUTELY the way to go. It is the absolute best thing you can do for your face, in my experience. Immediately after your facial, especially if the aesthetician does extractions (which they likely will), your face will probably look red and irritated, but that won't last very long. It shouldn't leave marks on your face, though. Look around for a good and experienced aesthetician, and they will take good care of you.Can a facial leave marks on your face?
It should last about a day, two days at max, assuming you don't have any allergies to anything they use (if you think you might, ask). If your skin is especially sensitive, it might last a little longer than a day or two, but not much. Don't worry - it's worth it! Report Abuse

try proactive its gental dont leave it on too long though!
I feel like a get a facial every morning when I put this skin care line on. To die for really. Hydration is the key, I use a water based product that has been tested at 100% hydration and my face shows it. Greak on wrinkles too. I use the eye cream on my upper lip area and works. NO PARABENS OR PRESERVATIVES. It is the only skin care that the Japan Government has certified as 100% natural. Most products are giving us breast cancer with the preservatives and parabens. Check out your leading brands. They use harmful chemicals to make us look good. We are all going ot be pretty in a casket. Methyl Parabens, and every other kind of paraben. Go to the breast cancer site and research parabens and you will toss you products. I buy it from a gal named Allison. She gave me the site called www.revolutionaryskincare.info. her email is allidari@yahoo.ca.
Avoid the chemicals that damage you skin. Try this before you consider a facial:

Try this one natural product. Your skin, no matter what age or skin type, is going to love this so much that it's going to GLOW - without risky, cell-damaging chemicals. After you try it, you'll be back for more. Feed your skin, don't poison it...

    Oh MY! Scrub

    1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 cup powdered oats (just plain oatmeal)

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

    mix together...

add enough water to make a paste

warm your skin with almost hot wash cloth to open pores and loosen dead dry skin cells

    spread mixture on your face

leave it on for a few minutes

rub gently while rinsing so the baking soda helps gently efoliate

    Rinse

Rub a couple of drops of light oil on your skin

if you like this, check my profile for more

Proactiv induces a chemical burn, similar to a sunburn. The longer you leave it one, the worse the chemical burn. You might want to avoid that.

  • Why does my face turn green or the facial hair area after shaving?

Hi,i started recently shaving after 3 weeks and i just noticed that my facial hair area is turning green after i shave or it leaves a light skin tone of green

Is there anyway to get rid of it

Please forgive me for my ignorance,I am new in shaving. Why does my face turn green or the facial hair area after shaving?
Because you are new to shaving lots of new experiences you learn. Now that your starting it is important to use the right products.

The best shaving product you can use is called Bee Royal Shaving Cream for men it is a waterless shaving cream and the only one available on the market.

    http://www.beeroyalproducts.com/store/pr鈥?/a>

It does not contain soap like other creams so it gives you a super clean and close shave also when your done shaving rub the remaining product into your skin it doubles as a moisturizer it will prevent your skin from ever getting red bumps or itching you will love to shave! Why does my face turn green or the facial hair area after shaving?
Do you have light facial hair? Maybe the chemicals are turning it green, just like chlorine does to blonde hair. Otherwise, I have no idea. Try a different shaving cream.

I'm a 22 year old female and was thinkin of taking testosterone to grow facial hair what are the consequences?

I'm not really trying to change myself but I just got to the point where I kind of want to look like a man, I am a stud a.k.a. a lesbian. Based on what I read so far these pills cause females to loose their breast, clitoris starts to grow, voice changes and you start getting facial hair, also it will cause serioust health problems and I just want to know what are the real consequences I would have to put up with.I'm a 22 year old female and was thinkin of taking testosterone to grow facial hair what are the consequences?
Are you a lesbian or trangender? What I guess I am asking is have you always identified yourself as a male? Or is this just something new you have discovered about yourself? I think right now you should forget the testostirone stuff and talk to a counselor so you can better figure out what will make you happy, and feel complete. Good Luck! ;-)I'm a 22 year old female and was thinkin of taking testosterone to grow facial hair what are the consequences?
Google it... I just don't understand why a female that age would do something like that to their body. I'm only 21- you're just a year older than and still consider myself young and if anything I just think you're just experimenting with your body and liked what you tried- which is that lesbian $hit- but to make a major decision like that you should really wait a few more years and make sure that is what you really want to do, because after it's done, you wont get what you lost back. Maybe a couple of years from now, or even 5-10 years from now you just might change your mind about the whole thing %26amp; find men attracted- you never know. Think about it- don't mess up what God gave you, appreaciate yourself, and love the way you are. Good luck.
It sounds like you are doing your research. Please be sure to consult a pharmacist (sp?).
consequences would be people thinking you are wierd

How can I get rid of unwanted facial hairs?

Avon has great products by Skin So Soft that are will remove hair from your face and it doesn't hurt %26amp; it works. There are a few different products. 1. Facial Hair Removal Cream Twist Pen 2. Facial Hair Removal Cream 3. Hair Removal Microwave Wax Kit for face and body. If you need any help let me know. kapriceduncan@yahoo.comHow can I get rid of unwanted facial hairs?
grab a fork and stick it into a live outlet.
Use laser hair removal and then you are done. When you look at the 2 year cost of trying to mess with creams and plucking, you will see that the cost is not too prohibitive and the problem is taken care of and done. The attached site has a great message board on any type of hair removal.
Your estrogen levels have probably begun to drop and if you've got skin that's sensitized to testosterone AND you have moderate to high testosterone levels, your hormone balance is probably shifting towards testosterone-dominated.

If there's not too much of it, do you really need to do anything? Most guys are OK about women with, for example, a slight moustache.

If you do decide you have to do something, then there isn't a simple answer.

Facial (and also body) hair on women comes about in the same way as on men because of

    1) your body being sensitized, before you were even born, to testosterone -- doesn't happen to all girls, but does to many

    2) your body producing high levels of testosterone

The growth rate and coarseness of the hair depends on just how much testosterone is circulating in your bloodstream.

Steer clear of bleaching -- when someone sees you against the light you'll look as if you have a glowing moustache and/or beard.

As far as removing it is concerned it's worth remembering that

    * Waxing, plucking, threading, epilating all pull the hair out by the roots and where the growth is hormonally-driven can actually stimulate a dormant follicle into producing more hair quicker. They also distort the root if done repeatedly, leading to hair growing at strange angles. And you've got to let the hair grow to quite a length before you can repeat the exercise. It can also damage the skin and discolor it. Long-term use of waxing also causes bad wrinkles.

    * Chemical depilatories strong enough to remove the hair are very likely to burn the skin, cause swelling and cause long-term discoloration of the skin.

    * Laser is also liable to cause burning and discoloration and in any case only works effectively on a dark hair/light skin combinantion.

    * Electrolysis is very liable to cause scarring and discoloration of the skin.

Which, like it or not, leaves shaving which does not damage the skin. You've tried a shaver of sorts, but it really is best done with a men's-style electric razor, the best of which, for women, are probably those from the men's range of Norelco razors (Philishave outside the US). Most women who try a men's Norelco wonder why nobody ever told them about it before.

How do 14 year olds have full facial hair?

There are a few kids at my shcool ages 14-16 with full beards, they shave it next couple of days its all back like a 40 year old mans beard. do they just have a certain gene or they take some growth hormone steroids or something? How do 14 year olds have full facial hair?
It's genes. How do 14 year olds have full facial hair?
You are correct in guessing that it is genetics...

I was a freshman in High School and I noticed that same thing...I was a late bloomer, but when I became a man, I had hair on my chest, back, and a thick beard...you will have to shave someday and ask God why you couldn't have stayed a boy, LOL!

    Take care!
guys develope differently.....like the kids could have a beard and have a 2 inch penis.....like i'm 16 and i have a twin bro.....my penis is 6 inches his is still 4 but he is hairy like a bear and i only have a little....so even identical twins develop at different rates
its all in the genes im 16 and am barely growing a beard and some kids in my school have a full grown beard also the amount of hair folicles plays a role in facial hair as well
its just some people get some dont it can run in families and it cant. i met this guy when i was 16 and had no facial hair he was 14 anf had a full beard i was like your 19 and then he told so no worries ok
every guys hair follicles are different, some guys have more, some have less, don't worry, I know many guys who can barely grow a mustache and it takes them months.
they might have facial hair disorder I don't think that they will have to be with something with steroids
its called they started puberty early and genes.

What do you look at while purchasing facial scrubs, hand and body washes, body lotions?

Quality, Quantity, Effect, Brand, Status, Skin Type.... and so on!What do you look at while purchasing facial scrubs, hand and body washes, body lotions?
The first thing to do is suss out what kind of skin type you have. The main categories are:

Sensitive - you have allergic reactions to lots of products

Dry - flaky, tight skin when not moisturized

Oily - shiny and oily (obviously)

Combination - a little oily around the t-zone and dry or normal on the cheeks

    Acne-prone - lots of spots

Normal - none of the above

Lots of people fall in two categories - for example, I'm Combination/Sensitive.

For people with dry skin, they look for creamy products with lots of rich moisturizers, and products that are gentle enough to remove dirt but not strip away natural oils.

For people with sensitive skin, all-natural, organic products with natural ingredients is the way to go. People with sensitive skin should stay away from products with preservatives, colour and perfume.

Oily skin needs light, water-based moisture and has to be kept very clean without stripping away too much natural oil, which causes the skin to produce even more oil as a reaction. Everything has to be oil-free and non-comedegonic or however the hell you spell it.

For combination skin you have to find the balance between moisture and oily-skin care - most people use two different moisturizers.

Acne-prone skin need products with active acne banishers like benzoryl peroxide or, the more traditional sulphur. There are lots of products for acne-prone skin at supermarkets and drugstores, but if acne is really bad the best products are prescription-only that your doctor has to reccomend and can only be bought at a chemist.

Normal skin people can be a bit more relaxed about their skincare regime, and you can worry a bit more about price ranges.

hope this helped. What do you look at while purchasing facial scrubs, hand and body washes, body lotions?
Number one thing for me is it has to smell good...and have ingredients that agree with my skin...for example no mineral oil. I look for natural ingredients as opposed to things I can't pronounce.

If you want to see hundreds of reviews on these types of products, I love going to makeupalley.com its my fav site for any type of cosmetic or skincare reviews. Basically it saved me lots of wasted time and money.

How do i get rid of unwanted facial hair???

I am only 15 and i have sideburns. Not the kind are wispy they are dug in the skin?? I don't want to go through laser, and how do I wax it??How do i get rid of unwanted facial hair???
OUCH! That waxing would hurt SOOO bad. But it's the only thing you can do cuz other methods will just make it worse. Maybe you should just leave them. I'd have to see a pic to see how bad they are and what you could do with them. How do i get rid of unwanted facial hair???
Get some caustic soda...Pour on face...Wipe hair (aslo skin, nose, eyes, lips) away...Problem solved!
wax or laser removal.dont shave or the hair will grow back thicker.
If you don't have the money to go to a salon and have them professionally waxed, Sally Hansen has wax strips that you just apply, rub a little until warm and pull off in the direction the hair is growing. Never shave or buzz them off, they will be horrible when they grow back, and thicker too.
use hydrogen peroxide to bleach them
WHatever you do, DO NOT shave your face.... it will just grow back thicker and darker... it is the worst thing you could do, instead, go to a salon and get them to wax it for you, also, after waxing, i'm pretty sure aveeno has a moisturizer (or many other companies) that minimizes hair growth and thickness.... hope i helped!
go to a salon, and have it done
go to a dermatoligist or a spa

they will help you cuz i dont

want to give you suggestions that aren't

    safe for your face!
go to a place where they do waxing.
i dont have problems with my facial hair but i have been trying a lot of products to get rid unwanted hairs in my legs. as for my experience, waxing made me more sensitive with other depilatories plus the hair became thicker. so i dont think u may want to do waxing especially on ur face. what i did with a friend of mine is bleach it or color it in a way it will camouflage ur skin.
without a picture its hard to tell

i suggest you go to a salon, get it done just for the first time, and then do it yourself from then on

WHATEVER YOU DO, dont buzz it.

youll get those little dots that men have after a while,

it will look really bad growing back. dont buzz !
If it is not too much you could bleach it.
shave it or have it buzzed ; )

Does facial hair mean you have stopped growing?

Im 16 and my beard comes out about 4 days after I shave. Does facial hair mean ill stop growing. What other signs are there of stopping to grow. Im about 6ft, and have grown about 1-2 inches since i started shaving 2 years ago.Does facial hair mean you have stopped growing?
No, nor will having long hair make you weak!:)

Usually genetics will determine your height. Nothing to do with anything else hairy or otherwise!Does facial hair mean you have stopped growing?
You will not stop growing just because you got face hair.
    no
