What do girls think of well groomed facial Hair?

What do GIRLS think of a well groomed chinstrap beard or a thin ';full'; type beard? What do you prefer? What do girls think of well groomed facial Hair?
Some like it and others don't but more women seem to dislike it because it hurts our faces when kissing. It's like being scraped over and over again. Sometimes it can look great on a guy but it doesn't resolve the kissing problem. Some women don't mind it so if you really want it then go for it and hope you'll find someone who does. What do girls think of well groomed facial Hair?
Personally I don't like any kind of beard or moustache or anything. I like clean-shaven and a bit of stubble can be sexy (a week's growth at most). But groomed, shaped facial hair is yukky, IMO. I just imagine the guy standing there in the mirror trimming it for hours on end and I don't like to think my guy is vainer than me!
Well-groomed is always better than the shaggy look. A full beard will make you look older, no facial hair typically makes guys look younger. It all depends on your personal preference. You'll be surprised by the way different facial hair grooming attracts different types of women.
Chinstrap beards are hideous on any guy (imo). I'm not sure about the other one either.

I prefer the scruffy look, a goatee, or clean-shaven.
Depends on how it looks on the guy. Some guys just look better without facial hair, some look great with it. The face type determines what kind of hair works.
I don't like facial hair. Unless if it's like one of those day-old beards. You know what I mean? Those thin ones. But no facial hair is awesome.
I like clean shaven, or a little goatee, like Synyster Gates!
It's either clean shaven or the hot scruffy look, but you really have to be able to pull that off.
i don't really like facial hair at all but i guess i'd rather it be well groomed if a guy had to have it.
I no like the girls with too much facial hair.
Are you talking about on your face or down';there';!!
Hate beards, hate hair...
no facial hair ewww
a thin beard
Scruffy is the best
i dont really like it. either no hair or that scruffy look is hot.
i like both.

i thinkk they are both hott(:
it depends on what kind of face you have
I'm not a fan of face pubes. They are pokey against my face.

Is it necessary to use things like facial creams and scrubs? What's the point?

I always hear of girls using ';apricot facial scrubs'; or ';honey facials'; and stuff like that. Why do you need facials and facial creams, what do they do for you? Isn't it alright NOT to use them?Is it necessary to use things like facial creams and scrubs? What's the point?
It really just depends on your skin. Some people are born with amazing genetics and therefore have amazing skin. These are the people who could fall asleep with pounds upon pounds of makeup on their face and wake up eight hours later and not have any blemishes.

Other people have band skin genes, and therefore have to do more work to keep their face looking healthy and vibrant.

Facial cremes are supposed to open up your pores, but many clog them if you're not careful. Then you get the reverse effect: instead of clear, beautiful skin, you get bumpy, irritated skin.

Harsh soaps can irritate your skin too, hence the special facial cremes and soaps.

Scrubs remove the dead skin cells and exfoliate your skin, which helps makeup go on smoother and makes your skin look and feel healthier. However, skin is very dry and prone to irritation after exfoliation, which is another reason for all the skin cremes. Is it necessary to use things like facial creams and scrubs? What's the point?
A lot of these things are good for like a girl's day out at the spa. They can be used to help you relax and relieve stress, but also using natural ingredients will clean out deep down in your pores, so they can be helpful too. And yes, it's alright not to use them-I never do.
I've always wondered that too. I don't think they make much of a difference. My sister has fabulous skin and all she uses is face wipes and moisturiser. I've tried lots of products but what I've found has made the most difference to my skin is drinking lots of water, eating a healthy diet and getting enough sleep and exercise. Stress also plays a big part in how your skin looks.
Facials cleanse skin, scrubs remove dead skin cells.

Thats what they are meant to do but whether they actually make a diffrence I don't know.

How can I get the best possible facial shave?

I have very sensitive skin. It seems like I have tried all the tricks in the book, but I still have a ';rough around the edges'; look no matter how I shave (little stubble on neck, bumps, etc.).How can I get the best possible facial shave?
Use a shaving cream for sensitive skin in the shower. Make sure you shave in the direction of hair growth. If you want a closer shave you can then shave against the hair growth but it might cause irritation. How can I get the best possible facial shave?
shower does help.always shave with a clean face.
Try shaving in the shower, steam helps soften a beard, also use a small amount of baby oil under your shaving gel.

What caused me to have overly masculine facial features?

I have a sharper jawline, jutting nose, more rugged brow bone/chin than any other female I have ever known. I absolutely hate the way I look. What would cause this? Did I have some kind of hormonal imbalance as a child? What caused me to have overly masculine facial features?
I'm sorry you're unhappy with your features...it's likely just a genetic thing. Even if your parents didn't have sharper features, the combo of their genetics might have brought this out from earlier generations. I'm sure you've already tried makeup techniques to soften your more dramatic features and draw attention to your best features. Not sure if plastic surgery would help, but I've read stories of surgeons that can ';fill in'; areas of the face with collagen, etc. to soften the appearance. And of course, a feminine hairstyle and clothing can help soften things, too.

I need help finding what kind of facial cleanser that will minimize my pores?

I have normal skin. not dry. But its a little sensitive. But whenever i look into the mirror i keep seeing big pores. what kind of cleanser would work for me ?I need help finding what kind of facial cleanser that will minimize my pores?
neutrogena:

blackhead eliminating daily scrub $5.50

alcohol free toner $7.00I need help finding what kind of facial cleanser that will minimize my pores?
OLAY would work out.
any toning cleanser!!!
Large pores are genetic and can't really be removed permanently. However, you can minimize the way they look. Your best bet is to look for cleansers and/or toners containing salicylic acid or beta hydroxy acids. Try the Neutrogena pore refining cleanser and/or toner. Also, clinique clarifying lotion is a good bet also for a toner. Since your skin is sensitive, I would skip the harsh cleanser and use a gentle cleanser like clinique mild facial soap or cetaphil. Rinse with tepid water, and follow with a splash of cold. Then use the refining toner, followed by a moisturizer. Further than that, foundation is the only thing that can hide them somewhat.

The important thing to remember however, is that other people don't see your face the way you do. They see your whole face not your pores. So don't stare in the mirror too long and don't put your face 3 inches from the mirror too much or you will get paranoid.

Hope this helps.

Im 18 and don't get any facial hair. Still peach fuzz. I don't get it. I'm 5'11, 170 pounds. Fully developed. Why don't I get facial hair? What could I do to make my facial hair grow?

Is there a common bond in all facial medicines because everything that i've tried causes a bad reaction?

I've tried everything from neutrogena and clean and clear to mary kay and sea breeze. After a couple weeks my face clears up but the acne is replaced by horrible dark splotches that crack, itch, burn and eventually feel scally. Even extra moisturizers burn the dry spots. ...including stuff for sensitive skin. What is going on 'cause I can't be allergic to every facial regiment out there! Is there a common bond in all facial medicines because everything that i've tried causes a bad reaction?
Maybe you need an oral med like tetricyclene. I take that and it really has helped. I also use neutrogena's benzoperoxide which is strong but good.

Any facial exercises to specifically lose fat on your face?

Im looking to start a new workout and diet routine- in addition, I really want to chisel down some extra weight on my cheeks- is this possible in addition to a normal exercise and diet routine?Any facial exercises to specifically lose fat on your face?
There are no facial exercises that will help you loose weight. But running is the best way to loose weight. That and eating healthy and portion control. When you loose weight you tend to loose it from top to bottom so you should see a difference in your face first.

Hope this helped.Any facial exercises to specifically lose fat on your face?
no they dont have those exercises, walking will burn fat from throughout your whole body, including face, so put walking or jogging into your new workout routine. good luck

What facial mask or treatment works for you girls to get you clear, healthy, and glowing skin?

I am 24 years old and had bad acne growing up. Now my skin is pretty clear except for small bumps and some small breakouts. I would give almost anything for completely clear skin! I wash my face every single night and rinse in the morning too. Don't know what else to do?What facial mask or treatment works for you girls to get you clear, healthy, and glowing skin?
I just use dove soap, and it is very kind to the skin,it is really good stuff. What facial mask or treatment works for you girls to get you clear, healthy, and glowing skin?
I use Proactive but since the cleansing wash gives me red little bumps I use Clean and Clear for sensitive skin then afterwards I use the Proactiv Toner then lotion. Every other day I exfoliate my skin with a rough cleansing cloth and LIGHTLY exfoliate my skin. I now have nice, clear skin!
How to get that glow in a flash? You could cheat and layer on the blusher, but a better option would be to try this: simply mix equal amounts of lemon and honey, apply it to your face and wash off after ten minutes.
You should detox your body to completely get rid of them. Or check out this site

I use Mary Kay products and I swear by them now! My skin has been so much clearer since I started using the products. I'm 21 by the way.

I think part of your problem is that you're only rinsing in the morning. You should cleanse, exfoliate, freshen, and moisturize both in the morning and a night. You will see better results that way.
I use ARbonne facial scrub, and also a masque with a lotion in it. Contact me at youlookbeautiful@verizon.net I can send you a sample.

I use to have a small amount of scarring from acne. I cleared it up with these products and use the masque with the lotion now to keep it clear and rejuvenate it and fad the scarring.

Okay, I have the perfect solution for you! An Aspirin Mask! It gives you a great glow, without drying out your skin.

All you do, is get 3-4 aspirin, put a bit of water of them, let them dissolve/ crush them up and combine with honey to form a paste. Put on your face and leave for about 10-15 mins. Then wash off. This improves your skin so much! Plus, its very cheap. It gets rid of pimples and leaves your skin glowing. I do it once a week. Read some reviews about this technique here: http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showr鈥?/a>

    Try it!!
Hands Down... Laura Mercier 'Secret Finish'. A final makeup step (oil-free) that sets your foundation and gives that super healthy GLOW! You can apply anytime for a quick re-fresh as well. Fabulous! Try over a tinted moisturizer.
Try Eyeko tinted moisturiser very popular and it is a 3 in 1 cream as well. So it will moisturise, perfect for the eye area, it illuminates and it is tinted to give you skin a radiant natural glow.

  • Is it normal for your face to get dry after you use a new facial wash?

I recently switched face cleansers from Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Solutions for Oily Skin to the Oil-Free Acne Wash. I noticed my face gets a little bit dry after I wash my face, but nothing too bad. Is this normal? Or should I stop using it?Is it normal for your face to get dry after you use a new facial wash?
yes, your skin just isn't used to the new product, once you use it some more, it will do the job that you paid for.

or maybe it's because it's an Oil Free Acne Wash, i would also guess that it is working a little bit too hard.

if it proceeds after 2 weeks, you should stop using it. it's not the facial wash for your skin type.Is it normal for your face to get dry after you use a new facial wash?
hello when you change the wash it's good to check out how it is going to work on your skin type the first one you were using might have been better but as you have said the weather could make your skin dry out can you go to a chemist and ask the ladies there about how to get the right wash for your skin type and use a moisturiser to help as i live is Australia we have summer here and the weather is hot and we need to use lots of creams to help our skin from drying out best of luck
This is normal especially with the cold weather we have, unless you are in a warm place like Florida....

I recommend using a daily moisturizer when you are done washing your face....Cereve or Cetaphil works really well! You can find this at Walgreens.

    Best of luck!
yeah..it is normal.I use the exact same product and,at first, I thought something was wrong but later I figured out it was perfectly normal.
I didn't recognize if mine did. I switched 5 times. Oh and thanks for the answer on my question! It answered it and now I can advertise :)

What product can i use to prevent facial wrinkles?

for example, is there any clean n clear product? neutragena? what can help me reduce or prevent wrinkles in my face and give me that smooth look. What product can i use to prevent facial wrinkles?
Be gentle with your skin and it will go a long way in keeping it smooth and supple. Gently massage the marks with glycerin-honey mixture. Dip a cotton pad in unbeaten egg white, and smooth it across wrinkles. Leave it on for an hour and remove it with a cotton dipped in ice-cold water. i use stuff from st ives. i cant recall what its called but it's greenish gray, and when you put it on your face it gets really hard. when you wash it off your face feels so smoothe and tight. its fun for a home spa thing
i think that if you're still young, focus more on moisturising regularly
my parents use Loreal revita lift.. seems to work for my mom.. bt im not sure abt other products though.. :)

Does anyone know how to make a facial masque?

I want to give myself a facial without having to go to a spa or anything. Does anyone know how to make a natural masque?Does anyone know how to make a facial masque?
I like using oatmeal, egg white and honey. Mix it together and put it on your face. Avoid the sensitive eye area. Put cucumber slices over the eyes for that, and to reduce any puffiness. If you want to buy one, st. ives is really good. I like to put their apricot face scrub on and leave it until it dries, or they also have a really good pore-reducing mud masque that I also like.Does anyone know how to make a facial masque?
    no
ive never used it, but ive heard that sometimes, the first time u use it u get break outs, and then the mask starts working better. i dont know if this is true, but i wanted 2 give u a heads up

Oatmeal and honey mixed together.Place it on your face. The oatmeal will take way the oils and the honey will replenish your skin. Then of course put the cucumbers on the eyes.

Is Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream skin protectant suitable to use as a daily facial moisturizer? ?

I bought it to soothe and calm my face. I have rosacea (though it's only the flushing/hot cheeks and nose I have so far). When I bought a tube of EA, it said on the advice sheet that it's suitable for chapped lips, or dry skin on knees, elbows and feet! Maybe to heavy for daily use on my face?Is Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream skin protectant suitable to use as a daily facial moisturizer? ?
It's for specifically dry and sore areas, you could use it overnight to treat areas on your face but as it's so stiff in consistency it would take forever to cover your face in it and also make up does not go over it well at all. This makes it an inappropriate daily moisturiser unless you don't wear make up and you have very dry skin all over your face. It is a very good product and brilliant as a lip balm and for soothing the skin generally though. Is Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream skin protectant suitable to use as a daily facial moisturizer? ?
It really is a bit too heavy to use daily. It is formulated to use on particularly dry skin areas like the ones mentioned in the advice sheet. I have extremely dry skin, and once a week I put EA 8 hour Cream on my face to give it a ';drink';, but I wouldn't use it daily. For rosacea I'd recommend you see your doctor who can prescribe special creams for this condition. Good luck !
I would say it was a bit heavy, because it's so so thick. It might be suitable to wear at night, just to see if it clears any of the redness.

try the purpose cleansing bar...that is unisex i guess..
Try Cetaphil skin cleanser. Totally non-gender specific. (Many stores sell their brand at a cheaper price.) It is a water-soluble non-soap cleanser. I slather it on, wipe with a kleenex. You can quit there, but being a female, I rinse with cool water then apply moisturizer. I think you'll like it. Another good non-soap is Aveeno (doctor recommended), but I think I like the cetaphil better. Use it a couple of times a day.
neutrogena is the best! pro active is great as well!

No cream or whatever. Stuff like things at home kitchen or something. Like fruit. What are good ingredients for a home facial?
Semen. What are good ingredients for a home facial?
    olive oil

    carrot/ bananas mixed with honey

    avocado
avocadoes, definitely. mash one up, put it on your face.

I think honey has some practical use as well.

I would just google ';kitchen facials'; or something to that nature.

    maybe ';DIY facial'; ?
just take a tablespoon of honey an a half t.spoon of facewash and mix them, then put over your face and neck and then wash after an hour.

it really makes your skin smooth, soft and clean

    try it........!!!!

    its my garanty

or onething cucumber, lemon orange peel are also good for skin.
Oatmeal facial scrub. Good for sensitive skin.

1/2 cup uncooked oats (for finer scrub you can blend into powder)

1 tbs.honey(if you use ground up oats you may want to adjust honey)

Mix ingredients together to form a paste. Massage into face and neck. Let scrub sit on skin for 10-15 minutes before rinsing.
Honey and Oatmeal as an exfoliator (add a small amount of your fave cleanser and mix in)

Brown sugar/Honey (pure)/oatmeal/a bit of lemon juice mix and add a small amount of your fave cleanser in it.
It all depends on what kind of skin you want to use it on.

Honey masks, and egg masks are good for tightening your skin. For the honey one you just apply it and wash it off after 20 or so minutes. For the egg one, you separate the yolk and the white, and you use the white as a mask and wash it off when the skin feels tight, then use the yolk as a moisturiser.

Coffee masks are good for oily skin. Just grind and mix with a liiiittle bit of water and apply.

Avacado masks are good for circulating the blood around your face, giving you a natural radiant glow. Just mash, apply, wash.

And also, olive oil. Its great as a makeup remover, and it cleanses your face.

All masks can be used for up to 20 minutes or so.

Also, for a good skin exfoliant, you can try getting a tomato and cutting off the top (you know, the part with the leaves and the stem-ish thing) and dip that in some sugar and just rub the sugar all over your face and chuck out the tomato piece. Then wash that off after a while. It cleans your skin.

Is it okay to use my exfoliating facial clearing scrub to my body?

is it okay to use my exfoliating facial clearing scrub to my body?

    like feet.

im just wondering.because when i use this facial clearing scrub it removes dead cells in my face.

so i think. that can it be use in my body (legs) to remove dead cells?

    um. maybe this helps.

im 13 and the brand is rite aid exfoliating clearing scrub. Is it okay to use my exfoliating facial clearing scrub to my body?
The skin layer on your face is different than on your body, so using body scrub on your face is too harsh and using face scrub on body is not too effective (plus you will waste your face scrub in scrubbing your body!)

Caudalie makes a scrub called Sauvignon Scrub which is good for body and gentle enough for face. I like it because it helps removing all the blackheads on my face, just don't scrub too hard.Is it okay to use my exfoliating facial clearing scrub to my body?
No, you should use an exfoliating body scrub for the rest of your body because the skin on your face is different then the skin on the rest of your body. If your skin is quite dry you can also use an exfoliating ';body glove'; or loofah. If you find that your face is breaking out a lot on your face then use the facial exfoliating scrub less often as the exfoliation can cause acne in oily skin.
I would first check to see if you have any rash after using it on a small portion on your leg.

If nothing happens then it should be fine, all though you won't get the same results. I am not sure it will make any difference, because the skin on your face is different than your feet or legs.
absolutely! it just may not work as well because scrubs like that are made to be more sensitive because they are used on your face. so the results you have on your face may not be the same result you get in other places on your body! but it wont hurt at all to try!
Yes, you can. But, the scrub will probably be too gentle for your body, so it won't work as well as you'd like. There are alot of body scrubs that you could use, though; they're harsher so, they'll work better.
Yes it is safe because your face has very fragile skin so exfoliating facials will be VERY gentle. It is safe to use almost anywhere external.
    yeah should be fine

but try spa style products like an all-over sugar, salt, or nut scrub, they're wickedly delicious
Yes, but it won't work very well. Body scrubs are harsher than facial ones.
i'd look for a body soap...those scrubs may be too harsh

I've got the same problem. I made the mistake of using a foundation or concealer that matched my skin tone, so it only drew the scar out even more.

Use a green-hued concealer. I know that this sounds absolutely bizarre, but trust me on this. The green counter acts the redness in the scars, and it also tones it down. Dot this on the scars and blend it into the skin. Then you can put your foundation on top of it because the redness will not show through.

Good luck! What facial makeup is good for covering up red scar marks on your nose?
purchase a green concealer. the green will counteract the redness. then after you have applied and blended the concealer, you can apply your powder or foundation over your face for a flawless finish.
Bare Minerals! It rocks. It's expensive ($25) but it lasts forever and it works really well.
    i don't know.try cover-girl liquid cover-up. i really dk.
MAC studio fix..that stuff is amazing

  • Does facial steaming and sweating have the same effect?

I read that facial steaming should be only done1-3 times a week because if done more, the skin may become too dry. If steaming has the same effect as sweating, does that mean exercise should be limited to the same amount of times/week to prevent dryness from sweating? It just doesn't make sense to me because I see people who work out everyday with the best skin, so why would steaming be so harmful if done everyday?Does facial steaming and sweating have the same effect?
facial steaming and sweating don't have the same effect.sweating is the excess water coming out of your body when u work hard it cleans your blood and skin. But steaming is different , u take hot steam direct on to your face which if done frequently will take the moisture out leaving your skin dry and damage.Does facial steaming and sweating have the same effect?
i found this article, has lots of useful info on sweating vs. steaming but it's too much to type in here. It seems though that both are beneficial to the body, but they are different.

    Hope this helps! : )

What should I do if I have facial paralysis?

half of my face is pralyzed because I overworked. I already stopped working, now what should I do to cure it? What should I not do?What should I do if I have facial paralysis?
You may have Bell's Palsy. See your doctor for treatment. What should I do if I have facial paralysis?
May not be something to ';wait and see';. You need someone to take you to emergency. I have had strokes, not worth doing nothing today ASAP.
See your Dr. it may be something serious.. While you are there, ask him about Botox injections to help relax the nerves/muscles. It might help.
It's called bells paralysis. It usually goes away within a few months, you will get movement back slowly, usually in a few weeks. two or three months it should all be normal. Continue you regular schedule, after a week or so rest. Don't be frightened, it's a common paralysis. Just learn not to blow off the handle and all should be good..
Overwork is probably not the cause of facial paralysis. It could be Bell's palsy or a stroke. Please call your doctor as soon as possible!

    Common Causes of facial paralysis:

    Bell's palsy

    Stroke

    Brain tumor

    Sarcoidosis

    Lyme disease

    Infection

    Birth trauma (newborns)

    Home Care:

Treatment depends on the cause. Follow your health care provider's treatment recommendations. Sometimes steroids and acyclovir may be given depending on the cause. If the eye cannot be fully closed, the cornea must be protected from drying out with prescription eye drops or gel.

Call your doctor if you have weakness or numbness in your face. Seek emergency medical help if these symptoms occur along with a severe headache, seizure, or blindness.

What to expect at your health care provider's office:

The doctor will perform a physical exam and ask you questions about your medical history and symptoms, including:

Are both sides of the face affected?

Have you recently been sick or injured?

What other symptoms do you have? For example, drooling, excessive tears from one eye, headaches, seizures, vision problems, weakness, or paralysis.

Tests that may be done include:

Blood tests, including blood sugar, CBC, ESR, Lyme test

    MRI of the head

    CT scan of the head

    Electromyography

The safest way to get rid of facial hair?

I have lil stubbs on my chin and I hate that every week I have to slightly burn them off which is painful. Got a better idea? The safest way to get rid of facial hair?
well pal, i hear you, I have lots of hair on my lips and chins area, you should certainly not burn it off, that doesnt sounds very safe! It is naturals and A OK for a woman to have a fustache, ive actually met several men who prefers it!The safest way to get rid of facial hair?
Skin So Soft facial hair remover. you can get it from Avon.
Waxing... should last a month. Never burn your face.
Well by looking at your little Yahoo icon pic, you have darker skin. Laser is not an option for darker skin tones. You have to be fair skin with dark hair for that.

The best option is waxing and tweezing. It will last 2-3 weeks.
Never Shave or Pluck...hair will only come back thicker.

Laser if you have darker hair.

Electrolysis if you have blond, light or grey hair.

waxing is a temp ...but painful fix.

Cost varies - Laser is most expensive - but fastest.

waxing is cheaper but leaves a red mark until it heals a day - like a rash....lasts a few weeks.

    Good Luck
    laser removal

    shave

    pluck
go to a beauty salon and get it waxed off. it'll take longer to grow back and when it does it'll grow back finer than if you just shaved it or 'burnt' it.
Waxing...and when u wax your hair off it becomes less and less...but it takes a while
there is a little technique that men have been used for about 3000 years now and it seems to work it's called shaving. get a razor blade and some shaving cream and shave away.

    ';burning'; wtf you thinking.

go steal your dads he won't think it was you.
    Pluck them with tweezers.
Unless it's a ridiculous amount I would just pluck them out.
    Duct tape
We Algonquins us clam shells to pull the unwanted hair out, or you could go to a Dermatologist and have him remove the hair.
    wax!
    Shave you dirty,dirty boy you

Is it true that the gender and facial features of a baby depend entirely on the relationship between its paren?

I heard some elderly lady say that if the wife is dominating the husband, then the baby will look like the mother and the baby will be a boy. If husband is dominating in a relationship, then the baby will be a girl and will look like the husband...is it?if so, how is that possible? Is it true that the gender and facial features of a baby depend entirely on the relationship between its paren?
I don't believe that, but what I do think is interesting is if your child's face resembles a certain parent that simply means their facial muscle structure is similar which in turn means their smiles, frowns, and other expressions will mimic that parent they resemble!!Is it true that the gender and facial features of a baby depend entirely on the relationship between its paren?
Old Wives Tale - completely false, just one of those stories passed down through the generations.

I have 11 month old twins. My daughter is my little mini-me - exactly! If you compare my baby pictures to hers, it is almost the same. My son looks exactly like my husband except that he has brown eyes while my husband has blue eyes.

Just genetics . . . or our relationship is balanced and we take turns being dominating?
im sure its false, but my daughter does look a whole lot like her dad and nothing like me.. But I just always thought they always look like the dad.
Nopes...U have heard it all wrong.. Scientifically it depends on the genes which the baby inherits.

I'm very curious. I've heard about that before, for boys and girls but never in depth. How can the imbalance be corrected? What causes one to have more facial hair on one side of the face than the other?
It's not really an imbalance. Most people grow in larger proportion on one side of their body.

For example the hair on my head, eyebrows and eyelashes grows thicker on my right side, as well as my right thigh and foot.

Hope I helped. What causes one to have more facial hair on one side of the face than the other?
Sometimes whichever side you sleep on will have less hair. I would assume it's because you wear it off or something.

How much moulding alginate would i need to use to cover an entire facial area?

can anybody help me with this i need to know how much alginate to buy enough to cover an entire facial area for my project?... does anybody know any tip/tricks in making realistic masks? using moulding alginate and plaster bandages? How much moulding alginate would i need to use to cover an entire facial area?
    Your best best is to order a set amount the supplier offers. If you're ordering on-line like at dickblicks (http://www.dickblick.com/search/? http://www.dickblick.com/categories/mold鈥?/a> %26amp;

    sp_q=mold+making%26amp;Image1.x=0%26amp;Image1.y=0

Then choose from their selection of kits %26amp; I'd suggest one of their DVD's or manuals on mold making. You can also check out library books on the process that are really invaluable!!!

Make sure %26amp; use a release agent, if you're doing an actual person's face, use vaseline so the materials won't stick to their skin. %26amp; if you use plaster bandages directly on the skin, not only do you HAVE to use vaseline but keep in mind plaster actually becomes very hot in the curing process %26amp; some people are too sensitive to take it.

You may also get some direct answers to your question in art supply stores, many carry mold making materials nowadays. Definitely use alginate %26amp; not a silicone mold if you are using someones face or contact with any skin (including yours). Don't forget the air holes for their nose so they can breath. =8)

What is your favorite brand of facial moisturizer and why you would recommend it?

i'm looking to switch because the one i'm currently using isn't all that great. i have the typical t-zone (oily forehead, nose, chin) but dry skin on the cheeks. What is your favorite brand of facial moisturizer and why you would recommend it?
Cetaphill works wonders. It does not irritate skin one bit. It's basic with no non needed ingrideints that could possibly cause irritation or make it more oily or dry. It's wonderful to use in the shower or right after the shower! What is your favorite brand of facial moisturizer and why you would recommend it?
I like Olay complete moisterizer for combo/oily skin. It always gets good reviews in magazines as well.
I recently bought Elizabeth Arden, the cleanser, toner, and moisturizer for oily skin and I am much impressed by it. My skin tone has evened out, I am less prone to breakouts and my makeup stays in place longer. Look to spend about $70.00 for all three. I feel that it is worth it though
I absolutely love Estee Lauder Hydra Complete. I know it costs more then drug store brands but it is worth every penny and one jar lasts a long time. It makes my skin so soft and fresh. It helps with fine lines and keeps my face moisturized all day long. And it smell great! If you want to spend less, I recommend Aveeno Radiance face cream. It really does make your skin radiant and when my budget won't allow Estee Lauder, this is what I use. Now if money is no object, the cream of all creams is La Mer. This stuff is a miracle in a jar! Even my hubby noticed a difference and that's a very hard thing to do! You can get a nice sized sample at any La Mer counter. They are very nice about that. But if I ever get a wind fall of cash, this is the product I would use every day!
    Biore products are totaly awesome!
ROC Retinol Actif Pur Anti Winkle Daily Moisturizer. I love it cause it has a SPF 15 (UVB %26amp;UVA sunscreen) Its Hypoallergenic, Oil free, Non Comedogenic (no break outs) and has Vitmin A (Retinol) %26amp; E they are very important too. I also like to wash with Cetaphill first.
your skin is combination,so you need to balance it.I love Dermalogica products, use oil free hydrating moisturizer,to help the shine stay put but also don't forget to hydrate your cheeks where you feel dry.Exfoliate and have regular masks. I prefer to buy my products from beauty salons because, beauty therapists are trained and can help you with correct selection.
I used to have oily skin with dry patches around my mouth and chin. I started using Mario Badescu about 7 months ago and the problem cleared up right away. I use the buttermilk moisturizer and it makes my skin very smooth with no oily t zone and it won't clog pores. They also make a variety of cleansers that are great and each ones tells which skin types it works for. You can get a free skin evaluation and product recommendation at their website (www.mariobadescu.com). This is the only moisturizer i have ever purchases more than once! The products are less expensive than department store brands (about $10 or cleanser and $20 for moisturizer)

What are some ways to grow facial hair?

No I don't plan on growing on a full on beard or mustache. I would just like to get a little fuzz/little five o clock shadowing if you know what I mean. What are some ways to grow facial hair?
Testosterone causes stimulates facial hair growth. Do a search on natural ways to increase testosterone. One easy way is to make sure you get enough zinc. Shaving your bare face won't do anything. The people telling you to do that believe in a myth.

By the way, I know you don't want to hear it but once you do start shaving regularly, you'll really miss the days when you couldn't grow a single hair on your face. What are some ways to grow facial hair?
    Shave often.

    UPDATE-

Whoever is giving us users that are telling the poster to ';shave it'; and giving us a -1 for it are either a.) idiots or b.) a girl that doesn't know anything about growing facial hair. Everyone knows that shaving hair makes it grow back faster and thicker.
Ok..i do not know whats up with all these people that say shave it, everyone knows that shaving does not make hair thicker and stronger, it may be for some, but that is why it remains a MYTH. I dont think there is anything you can do but let puberty catch up to you. :p
Try just shaving the neck and under the chin area, don't go past the underline of the jaw bone, Then you can the grow a beard any style with out looking like a tramp !
im 12 and i hit it really early and i have to shave everweek cuz if i dont i get a 5 o clock shadow but the best thing i could say is probelm just wait because it will come at around 18 to 22
There is no safe answer. But if you insist, you can try to buy some testosterone. Check outside the party stores on the other side of town.
you can try shaving but be care full to not let yourself get razor burned.
Shave it. I'm not sure why it works but it will make it grow. Also if you eat lots of jello it will grow a little faster.
Shave where you want hair :S

It's truly weird why this works.

    But yeah give it ago.

I heard wonderful things about clinique, but I thought I would ask here for to get a variety of opinions! Thanks! What are your thoughts on Cliniques Facial Cleansers?
Yeah you can go for it, I don't really know why all the girls are saying that they're not good, maybe it didn't work for them but yeah everyone has different skin types and different products suits them.

Anyway you should use Clinique Comforting Cream Cleanser. I love the results.

I hope i helped. What are your thoughts on Cliniques Facial Cleansers?
I am not a fan of clinique. The p.h. of some of their products arn't good for your skin. But you don't really know until you try.

I use dermalogica and love it. http://www.dermalogica.com/us/#/home
Search the products you are looking for in www.totalbeauty.com or www.makeupalley.com. Those are sites that review beauty products and tools.
I don't like Clinique, not at all, too drying, and not worth the money. Try cetaphil, at CVS or Walgreens its the best!
they are way to expensive and not great for skin

go for neutrogena or something in the B. Kamens line

I use a lot of stuff from the ';St Ive's'; collection. Face products, body wash %26amp; lotion. All very natural and very inexspensive {less than $5.00 a bottle} and the body wash and lotions come in lots of different scents. You can buy it anywhere.
    I like L'oreal.
Any dermatologist will tell you to use Vaseline. Moisturizers don't add moisture to your skin. They just seal the skin to keep natural moisture in. Vaseline is best. Others also work, but not as good. I like Aloe Vera gel. Use the one that stays on your skin the longest. The best time to apply is immediately after a bath or shower, before moisture can escape from your skin. Also when you bathe, don't use soap. Use a soap free body wash.
Oil of Olay was rated #1 by Consumer Reports.
    My dermatologist recommended '; Purpose ';
i like cetaphil.they make one with SPF also. %26amp; it won't give u acne or anything:D
Cetaphil is the best cleansing and moisturizer kit. It's super gentle, yet super replenishing. Super cheap, too and is recommended often in plenty of magazines like Allure. It clears up your face like that. Pick it up at your local drugstore.
Clean %26amp; Clear Dual Action Moisturizer. I've been using it for a very long time, and it has really been doing it's job. I also tried Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizer. This one is pricy, but it really lathers your skin and keeps it moisturized and soft.

A question for anyone who does Facial Exercises?

I've read about Facial Exercises and there's a surprising amount of books out there on them. Most of the books on facial exercises I've looked up are aimed at people who want to look younger and healthier. I am young and my problem is that I have a lot of extra fat on the lower half of my face; I have chubby cheeks. I was wondering if doing facial exercises would help me lose those chubby cheeks and developed a more defined-looking face.A question for anyone who does Facial Exercises?
oh im sorry i don't know, but if you find out do let me knowA question for anyone who does Facial Exercises?
No it won't make your chubby cheaks go away. Unfortunetly, nothing will help for that. It will, however, strengthen your face muscles.
my favorite facial exersize is to smile.smile really big like show all your teeth then let it go and smile again,do this 40 times a day.

What is the average age for facial hair to grow up?

im 14 and i have hairy legs and arms and chest...i was wondering when do hair on my face start growing up!!!What is the average age for facial hair to grow up?
    Some men are hairy from head to toe at age 13. Some men are hairy from head to toe at age 30. Some men never get hairy from head to toe. There is no ';normal.';

Be thankful you don't have to shave your face. I would be happy if I didn't have to shave every morning, and sometimes every evening. Count your blessings that you don't have to shave your face yet.

Girls dig hairy legs and arms and chests. They look at it as a sign of maturity. Be thankful that you sprouted before your classmates did. And be sure to let them know that they are less mature than you are for not having matured as quickly as you did.

Again, don't pray to have hair on your face. It's more maintenance. One less thing you have to take care of in the morning! When the time arrives that you finally have to shave, ask your dad or a trusted male friend of your mother to show you how so you don't shave your face where you shouldn't be shaving your face. What is the average age for facial hair to grow up?

Can anyone suggest me a good facial hair remover cream, lotion or anything else?

And please ladies, write from your personal experience. I don't want to have thicker hair next time :(Can anyone suggest me a good facial hair remover cream, lotion or anything else?
Nair hair removal cream or you could buy some facial wax. I used both either or are great hair removal products. Can anyone suggest me a good facial hair remover cream, lotion or anything else?
truthfully, putting the remover cream on doesn't make it grow back thicker, but it does take off the little hairs that are blonde and no one can see anyway and can make those grow back darker... my hair was completely blonde and i just did it for fun when i was little with my mom and now its a huge problem. =/ i'd just pluck the hairs you can see with tweezers. then they dont grow back any different and you dont have to worry about the ones you cant even see becoming a problem.
Well, it depends on where the hair is, how thick it is and how long it is. If it is long enough, I would recommend waxing with SurgiWax. If you prefer creams and lotions, I recommend SurgiCream. That brand just seems to work best in my opinion! Hope this helps.

Is lemon juice good for female facial hair?

If so then how would you apply it, when and what type of lemon juice or any other type of info.Is lemon juice good for female facial hair?
Dont wax! Itll just grow back darker and thicker, and after a while youll be able to see the roots in the pores. Lemon juice acts like a bleach. If your out in the sun, apply the juice to your face hair, and leave it there for about 15 minutes. Itll bleach the hairs white. This works for facial hair, and if you want streaks in your hair. Just wash your face after, and put on lotion so your skin doesnt dry out.Is lemon juice good for female facial hair?
Only to lighten it. But it will dry out your skin. Better options are to wax.
i have heard that lemon juice lightens your hair but if you want to remove it you could get facial nair or wax or tweeze. waxing and tweezing does not cause your hair to grow back thicker, thats just a myth.
yes, it will help you grow it nice and thick, its better if you get it freshly squeezed, it has more vitamins to help with the growth

What's the reason guys grow facial and body hair?

I know it's to do with hormones but I mean what purpose does it serve? Was it to keep us warm when out hunting like our ancestors had to and it's carried over from then? What's the reason guys grow facial and body hair?
    Hey there,

The hormone that causes hair growth on the face and body is testosterone. This hormone is both in men and women. Body hair serves no purpose, but head hair is the human body's excess waste. Hair is our body's waste! (unless your bold...).

Our ancestors grew facial hair to keep warm and protect them against wind. They had hair almost all over their body. Humans are a lot less hairy then they used to be!

It was carried from our ancestors. I hope this helps you. What's the reason guys grow facial and body hair?
i'D SAY YOU HAVE MADE A FAIR ASSUMPTION THERE YES...It probably helped with camouflage too?? Another theory of mine is the woman and her bunch of flowers thing that they have...When the husband didn't manage a kill he'd bring back some coloured plants for his wife for decoration of the cave...Clever theory or what :)
Facial hair in males is/was used as a protection against the elements when in the role of hunter/provider. It has also been used to attract the opposite sex. by decorating or growing facial hair. :P
    It's sexy

It depends on your immune system, how long it can cope until being fully suseptible to facial wasting. People live up to 10 years or more without any way of knowing they had it.How soon after HIV infection can facial wasting/ lipodystrophy/lipoatrophy occur?
Usually I just make up crazy answers on yahoo answers because I find the questions stupid/amusing, but since this is a serious question I'll answer it.

People can have HIV for up to 10 years before they show any symptoms. By then, it is usually opportunistic infections that cause people to seek medical care. facial wasting does not occur due to HIV, but is one possible side effect from long term use of HIV medication. But it's a small price to pay for an extended life.
that can be caused by a LOAD of different things......but get tested if you are concerned

If you have polycistic ovaries, the pills that your on (or should be on) usually help alot. Hiya!!! Well there is no permanent Solution to facial removal, unless you have laser surgery. But i would suggest bleaching it. You can buy it over the counter at boots, super drug etc. It's still there but barley noticeable!!

    I really hope I helped!!xx

electrolysis (a laser gun which is inserted into the follicles to damage the root) is the only way to permanent removal I can think of.

Doctors can help with the hormone change, but I hear that it can be in vain.

    Good luck.
electrolysis or waxing are the most long term solutions, but there is not a truly ';permanent'; hair removal option as your body will continue to produce the hormones that are causing hair growth. Best of luck.
laser hair removal is probably the best and safest way.

    proactiv
yes javex and draino works for me
Honestly, the best facial cleanser is PLAIN WATER. I have tried them all - from el-cheapo to very very expensive. What really got my frequent breakouts to go away, is to stop using soaps and cleansers! I use shampoo and liquid soap everywhere else, of course, but the face can just be rinsed off. The first few days it will feel really icky to not wash your face but the inkling to wash and scrub and ';treat'; your skin with chemicals will go away... along with the zits! Breakouts were (for me) related to the fragrance and/or needing to apply moisturizer after the cleansing. Now after I dry my face I don't seem to need much moisturizer, except in the winter, and then I use Udderly Smooth.

In the long run are expensive facial creams good for your skin or do they make you age more quickly?

It seems that men have better skin when they're older, so it's not all in the genes. It's understandable that your skin would take a beating if you let it tan too much or used makeup heavily and had to scrub it off your skin every day. What about those expensive moisturizers? Temporarily it seems they are great rejeuvinators. Do they help over a long period of many years, or does your skin lose its ability to produce natual moisturizing agents because you have come to depend on the products? I haven't made up my mind yet, so please tell me what you think. In the long run are expensive facial creams good for your skin or do they make you age more quickly?
There are several factors you need to consider...

    Environmental Factors

    Sun Exposure

    Skin Type

    Diet

    Genes

You are correct that there are people who do not need moisturizers because of the natural moisture in the skin.

Nowadays, many people do a lot to strip natural moisture from their skin like showering more than once a day, being out in the sun too long, wearing too much poor quality makeup, being in dusty and smoggy areas.

I when I lived in Central California, I did not use moisturizers, however, when I moved to Los Angeles, there was a clear need for me to start searching for a product to replace what was being stripped from my skin. I have found that price does not really make a difference if you are looking for moisture only. If you are looking for age reduction, I have noticed that there is a difference in some specific brands and prices. In the long run are expensive facial creams good for your skin or do they make you age more quickly?

neutrogena has a chemical face peel

as with loreal, olay, drug store brands.

look at like target and look for peel-off facials.

Why is it that cheap brand facial cleansers are always too harsh on my skin?

It always was. Neutrogenia, etc. I have dry/sensitive skin and everything that I have tried made my face even more dry (like painful dry. As soon as I washed my face it would be super dry and it'll hurt to make facial expressions). I finally gave in to expensive brands, and they are so much better. My face is well moisturized and people now think that I'm wearing foundation after using the stuff for three days.

They have me sold. Quality over quantity right? I think that my skin will thank me in the future. Why is it that cheap brand facial cleansers are always too harsh on my skin?
i have tried cheap and expensive cleansers and i have to say the pricier ones seem better. not because it's higher in cost but they seem more gentle and have better ingriedients instead of just detergent(sodium laurel sulfate). there are some ';cheap'; cleansers that are quite good. aveeno has few good one and olay cleansers are very impressive and both are under 10 dollars which for me is cheap. but now that i'm older at 34yrs old have have good job as RN i can afford to try different products out there. i bought the nutritive cleanser from Dr. Perricone and so far this one has been the best. very gentle, good lather, generous size, delivers clean skin. i highly recommend it even though it's th emost expensive i've bought at 35 dollars. worth it!!!Why is it that cheap brand facial cleansers are always too harsh on my skin?
u should switch baq to the cheap stuff and use facial lotion after u clean your face. olay face lotion works realllyyyyyyy well!!!
I more notice the ingredients: the more chemical laden, the worse for my skin. The more natural, or safe ingredients, the better for my skin. Many more expensive brands have more natural/better ingredients, but not always. Also, some organic brands are cheaper price wise, but quality of ingredients is high. I more base my decisions on what the ingredients are suppossed to do, and how pure they are. I think price is sometimes irrelavant when it comes to that. But, to generalize, yeah, the more expensive stuff is better. And by the way, I use expensive stuff.
Cheap products use cheap ingredients, and they don't work all that well.

I compare it to the difference between fast food and healthy food. It's more $ and work to eat right, but in the end, your body thanks you.

It's the same with your skin. It costs more to use the right stuff, but your skin is healthier and happier.
thats why they're cheap and the good ones are expensive
I'd like to know what you use! Sounds nice!
I agree with you totally, same situation here! But I found out years ago that you get what you pay for and I would prefer Quality to Quantity every time, in every aspect, especially in cosmetic products. It is worth every dollar to me. I am also allergic to the cheap mascaras and buy Clinque or Estee Lauder or Lancome, they are the greatest.
You have to be really carfull about anything that is for your skin that is at a low price. Usually low prices mean they are preserving the product longer for shelf life. So they put metels in the products that are actually going to penitrate your skin. You even have to be carfull with shampoos and soaps. Many have metels in them.
I have noticed that since I switched back to neutrogena back from Pevonia my face is super dry and getting wrinkles...I need to go back to expensive. It is amazing at how you get what you pay for...although quite unfortunate since not all of us can afford the good expensive stuff...
I have found that quality goes far beyond quantity.. I mean I don't want to put something on my face just because I was able to get a lot at a cheaper price. I am spoiled by oil of olay and my Lancome' products...yeah they are $$$ especially the Lancome' but man they are great!! :)

How about getting an organic cleanser that you can rinse off? I don't see how using water would become cruel to animals. You use water when you shower, for your food, to drink.. Why is using it to cleanse your face any different? The water gets cleaned either way.

You should go see a dermatologist and find out what your best options are for taking care of the scars and hair removal.

For example there is a prescription cream called Vaniqa for women that reduces/eliminates unwanted facial hair. Link to product site: http://www.vaniqa.com/

At this point, it sounds as if your skin is in bad shape so get professional help to prevent future damage.

BTW, lots of women deal w/ facial hair for different reasons so don't be shy about finding and going to a good doctor.
I would try using a mix of aloe vera gel and shea butter. They have very good healing properies and made my old blemish scars disappear even though the skin was darker in these spots. Maybe it could work for you too.

Be gentle: the fact that your skin has difficulties healing means that you should handle it very gently. Avoid any treatment that seems too harsh (like home dermabrasion for instance) you'll only end up upsetting your skin even more...
There are laser skin centers everywhere now that can help You with this. The treatments are not very expensive but worth it in the long run.. You will never have to worry about the ';shadow '; again and You will feel so much better about Yourself too. Please look into this laser hair removal... You will not regret it.. promise :-)

    Good luck to You

You cant really do anything to speed it up, people will tell you that shaving it often will make it grow quicker, but thats just a myth. Just have to wait till it matures and grows quicker on its own. Careful tho, later on you wont want it to grow =)What can you do to grow facial hair quickly?
%26lt;.%26lt; (I'm 14 too) Anyway ... Shave (even if it's nothing there) along the flow of hair growth (with the grain) often. If youdon't know how to shave, DON'T USE SHAVING CREAM .... that's backwards from what you want, use warm-hot water, no soap. Use a disposeable razor also. Do thatevery once n' awhil and it'll grow. (When you shave stuff constantly, it grows back thicker each time. It may not be genetic for you to have facial hair but so what, just keep agitating your hair folicles, it'll grow.) %26lt;.%26lt; yes it does .. my friend tested it and he grew a mustache doin' it. Also, if you havent hit puberty, well no stuff it wont work. (If you've hit puberty you should have some ';ball hair'; by now, or pit hair)

How weird is it for a teen guy to get a massage and facial?

im going to be a freshmen soon and the day before i go i was thinking about getting a massage and a facial at a salon. im not gay...i just care about how i look and feel.

is that odd? Should i not get a facial? tell me what you think. thanks. How weird is it for a teen guy to get a massage and facial?
It just means you're a step ahead of your peers in that you want to take care of yourself. More teenagers should consider facials especially, since acne is so prevalent in this age group. Facials help with that so much. If you have any kind of problem with your skin, definitely get the facial. You'll be glad. And massage is also a great thing, especially if you play sports or are into any other kind of athletic activity, also if you spend long hours at a computer or hunched over a desk (and what high school kid doesn't?) it will help to alleviate some of the pain and pressure created from this position.

Most salons and spas have an age requirement and if you are underage, you will probably need to be accompanied by an adult who can give consent for you to be treated and supervise the treatments. Call the place you were wanting to go to and ask about their policy regarding this so you can be prepared. How weird is it for a teen guy to get a massage and facial?
its a bit weird, but in a sweet way (:. im a sophmore in highschool and if i found out a guy got a facial, i might jab at him a little in a joking way but i think its nice when a guy cares about his looks, as long as hes not obsessed or takes longer to get ready than i do.
It's not weird. If you want a facial, you should go get it. I know plenty of guys that get facials, massages, waxes, etc. at salons and spas.

Hope I was able to help! =)
it's not weird at all. it's good that you care about how you look. facials are fun!

What are you expressing with your facial piercings?

Many people say that they are excersising their right of self expression with facial piercings. Can you put into words what your various facial peircings express? Please be honest, I would truly like to knowWhat are you expressing with your facial piercings?
I am a bit older and got my piercings before it was 'cool.'

I got a tiny piercing in my nose after visiting with a friend from India that had hers done. It was tiny, taseful, elegant and beautiful, so I got the same because it was not in your face, but very sexy and sensual.

I had my tongue pierced because it was more of a 'wow' thing since not many people were doing it at the time. But I did not flaunt it or make a big deal out of it, it was my little secret for the most part. (That one was removed a few years ago)

I do it because I like the adrenaline rush that comes with the planning and the actual piercing of it, not so much the expression. I have other piercings as well and those are for the adrenaline rush also. Piercings are not permanent, so I was able to take out the ones that I had grown tired of with only tiny, almost unnoticed scars.

My ex-husband, on the other hand, has 15 piercings on his face (large spacers in his ear, his labret and his septum among others). He has self-esteem issues and the piercings make him feel better about himself. Strange, I know, but it makes perfect sense to him. He is expressing his feeling of ';I don't give a f*ck what you think';... I have always thought he is trying to overcompensate for depressive thoughts.

So I guess everyone has their own reasons. :)What are you expressing with your facial piercings?
My ears are pierced. When I was a baby my mom had my ears pierced, of course I don't remember if there was any pain, nor was I given a choice. Well, they goofed and pierced my ears too high! So when the multiple ear piercing came popular, I had my ears pierced again below the original holes. This is the only piercings I have. I am expressing that I like Jewelry and like the comfort of wearing jewelry. I don't have any piercings on my face or my tongue. That phase came out when I was already to old to go with the phases. I suppose people who pierce their face with nose ring, eye brow ring, and lip ring are expressing their love for jewelry in their own way.
I don't have any, not even my ears are pierced! I guess that expresses i'm a wimp who doesn't like pain. haha
I am expressing my love for clam chowder
im xpressing my culture as we av to get our ears peirced and mainly our noses(which i find to b vry unatractive}.

i only av 3 peircings on my ears...
    I have a nose piercing,

and I pierced my lip for fun when I was slightly drunk and then let it grow in,,

I am expressin my love for risk, living on the edge, and rock music, and I enjoy the feeling of sticking needles into myself.

    thats all.
I do have 2 ear piercings on each ear, and i used to have a lip piercing. But piercings used to be about rebellion, going against ';society.'; Now, it's more of ';what's in'; and what's popular. But i did it for more of a rebellion.

I really don't want to get an infection digging into my skin again toWhat can I do with a facial hair growing under the skin?
Honestly under the skin hair grows like 3x faster. I would dig it out also. Maybe use a needle, and get under the hair. Pull it up, and use tweezers to pluck it out. I know the feeling. I had facial hair as a teen, so i shaved it off. Big mistake. Lol. Make sure you use alcohol on the needle and tweezers before inserting them under the skin to avoid possible infection. I hope i helped.

I am a 17 year old guy, and I need some tips on improving my facial appearance. I know about styling hair, brushing your teeth, rinsing with mouthwash etc, but what are the other things I can do? For example: applying lotion to my skin etc., but what else is there to do in the morning before I leave for school? Thanks to all who help! What are some things i can do in the morning to improve my facial appearance? (boy)?
Dont do it before school...do it before you go to bed because then you wont go through school with a slippery face from lotion...lus if you keep a nighlty routine up youre face will jus become and stay soft and ';perfect';...also concealer helps...male concealer of course...but dont overdo it...only a small dot wherever you need it and smooth it out to blend wiht the rest of your complexion....you could tweeze your eyebrows...shave...';comb'; your eyelashes...apply chapstick...whiten your teeth with whitestrips...wear cool sunglasses...put on a guys necklace...cologne will always help a girl subconciously think you are hotter jus becuase of an overpowering masculine scent...blow your nose...breathmint...clean out your ears...wipe your eyes clear of any imperfections (sleepcrust)...conceal the dark bags under your eyes with the concealer...thats all I got...What are some things i can do in the morning to improve my facial appearance? Without seeing what you actually look like, it's hard to say. For instance, if you have acne, you should definitely use an astringent and some sort of medicated cream. If you have oily skin, you should use some sort of toner. However, one thing that improves everyone's appearance is a nice smile!
guys should do something to their eyebrows. if they are growing all over your face then tweeze them or something. i have seen so many guys who would be so hot but they have like caterpillar eyebrows going everywhere

oh yeah and use the ax spray

Does masturbation depend on how much facial hair you grow?

as in, guys that dont masturbate=Hairy beasts

guys that do masturbate alot=soft hair that takes forever to grow...

the reason i ask is because i heard testosterone causes thick facial hair at a rapid grow, and at the same time, testosterone comes from not jerking it.Does masturbation depend on how much facial hair you grow?
    um. those are ALL myths.

    masturbating doesn't determine

the amount of hair on your body!Does masturbation depend on how much facial hair you grow?
    LOL, no.
Dude, you are wrong all the way around. Guys have lots of hair or don't have much at all, just simply because of their heredity. Hairy guys masterbate just as much as smooth guys, and testosterone is produced as you masterbate, not when you don't. We think of humans in a few races-caucasian, african, indian, asian but there are lots of subraces--in cuacasians, for example, you have smooth skinned, blonde scandanavians as well as very hairy greeks, eastern europeans and arabs. So your subracial background has nothing to do with the amount of testesterone a guy produces. I'd say for most races, masterbation is a common activity.

    GET A LIFE!
wow thats a new angle on it! :D
Testosterone may have an influence on such things as has been shown when women are given large doses, but there's no truth in the above that I've ever come across. Actually you might find an increase in testosterone through masturbation, although probably limited to a period of time. You'd need sustrained levels of it for a long time for there to be any real effect.

  • Do you know of a good facial moisturizer?

Do you know of a good facial moisturizer for sensitive skin? Anything other than Oil of Olay. I tried that and it made me very itchy and red. Thanks in advance!Do you know of a good facial moisturizer?
I LOVE Avons Anew line. It's pricey, but if you watch for specials on their website, it's OK. Their basic products are good too. I just ordered a bunch and swear by them - especially for dry skin in the winter.Do you know of a good facial moisturizer?
well I like olay regenerist serum fragrance free but since olay bothers you then try dove products they are good too
Estee Lauder's Day Wear Plus... great for sensitive skin, has a hint of cucumber and also spf :) Love it!
Clinique, total turnaround. Expensive but great, you can tell the difference in a week.
get aveno, for sensitive skin, I use it and it really helps me.
    i dont know
    Aveda - for sensitive skin. Get the the cleanser, toner and moisturizer ';Sensitive skin.';

    It rocks!
go to the kiehls section in a big department store, and ask for different samples. they are very good at that, and use natural ingredients..
I'm a big fan of both Aveeno's Ultra Calming moisturizer and Dove's Deep Moisture moisturizer I have extremely sensitive skin that gets terribly dry in the winter time. I use Aveeno in the summer and Dove in the winter, and so far no itch or breakouts for me!

I'm even allergic to private companies like Mary Kay and Avon, and department store brands like Clinique and Estee Lauder. Dove and Aveeno have worked wonders, and they're relatively inexpensive.

They're both available at drugstores and places like Target and Wal-Mart, and average about $7 - $9.

    Good luck.
Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion by Clinque is amazing and the bottle last a long time, since you only need a little. This brand of moisturizer is made for different skin types I love it.
Go to a dermatologist and he/she should prescribe you one.

Sally Hansen makes a facial wax...It's easy to use...warm it up in the microwave...spread it on and pull :) It costs about 5.00 at Target.

Never ever shave...that will cause stubble

I also don't recommend bleaching because you can still see the hair...How do I get rid of facial hair?
    Bleaching:-

It Actually lightens the hair colour so it appears blonde or golden. Several highlights of hair bleach make it an appealing choice for some women - it is accessible, quick and, best of all, painless. All hair bleach kits come with two essential components: the actual hair bleach mixture, which is most often in cream form, and the activator mixture, which is always in powder form. Follow the instructions to obtain the proper proportion of bleach to activator.
