2 days ago the right side of my mouth was sore and a pimple started to arouse there... yesterday it was fine but now today i woke up this morning and it was very swollen. I tried putting heat on it and the swelling went down but after about 40 minutes it was worse i've been putting ice on it and its went down a little bit but it's still swollen. i looked up what muscle it is and it's called the buccinator. it hurts to smile or touch it. Any suggestions?What can i do to stop facial swelling?
Asprin %26amp; Advil help reduce swelling. I'd put an antibiotic topical cream or ointment on it too.

go to the doctor it could be seriously infected. for now i would just recommend gargling with salt water and that is it and get rest.. DO NOT put ice or heat it up like you are doing..just leave it alone!!!!!!
