Why do people with facial hair look funny when they shave?

You know what I mean, but after a few days or week, it just looks normal and when they grow it again, it looks funny.Why do people with facial hair look funny when they shave?
Most likely because you're used to seeing them with the hair. When they shave it off they look like a different person, so naturally they start to look more normal to you when the hair comes back.Why do people with facial hair look funny when they shave?

Is the same stuff with people who switch glasses with contact lenses.
because you are so used to seeing them with the facial hair its a shock to see them without it =)
