Hi, I have really bad facial hair, ie under my chin, and side burns... what should i do? i know shaving will cause it to be awful like a mans, and waxing isnt good for the face either. i dont want to bleach, i just want to REMOVE them! i heard electroylsis is painful and expensive and doesnt even work all the time, have 2 have repeated procedures etc... what about the hair laser removal? anybody tried that? does it hurt, and does it work? will the hair grow back thicker and u have to have lots of sessions to get rid of it completely? thanks.Best way to remove facial hair for a woman?
i assume you've been to your gp or dermatologist and got tested for causes of hirsuitism , the excessive hair you have if not then do so and your dr will give suggestions
get laser treatments. if you can't afford it save up for it and ask around for the best way to do it as long as it's done in a hospital or in a dr's clinic under the dr's direct supervision. don't get i done in a spa because it's cheaper that's dangerous. laser is good for really dark hair and after a few sessions you may not need it so often and hair will be much less and finer with better results than any other way and much less painful except for shaving or bleaching.
a cheaper way is to get threading or waxing done to your face and use a hair minimising lotion every day until the hair starts growing back then remove it again and use the cream and so on you will have results but it will take much more time than laser.
so your best option is laser unless it's not affordabl then threading or waxing with hair minimising cream/lotion would be your answer.Best way to remove facial hair for a woman?
As a cosmetologist, waxing is the best option. The hair growns in finer so its easier to remove and less noticeable when it grows in. Also, its less painful each time you have it done, but get someone really experienced.
Have you ever thought to cream bleach it? Actors said that Marilyn Monroe had such a bushy bunch of hair on her face that she bleached it and it gave her the angelic look that she had. By the way, laser I have heard does do wonders for people now and should stop the stimulation of hair growth. Good luck to you.
just saying that layzer does not work on everyone. so be aware of that before you spend money on that.
I have hairs that grow in my moles and have checked out laser hair removal. You might want to check out this link and see if it's for you. I've asked my doctor about this, whatever you do, you are NOT supposed to pluck them. She suggested cutting them off.
I just pluck mine with tweezers.
Nair,or neat those creams for legs.
My sister in low is professional beautician and she is doing laser treatment for this problem. It is really works and not that extremely painful. I am not sure how long it lasts but I met one of her clients and she is over the moon about that. You will never know until you do it yourself
Waxing is great and inexpensive compared to the other method. If your skin gets irritated it Will go away within a couple hours or so, most importantly, don't rub anything over waxing, especially on your face. Laser removal is expensive also :)
waxing, you can get veet wax strips from boots works a treat.
have you tried something called 'Threading' you can have it done anywhere really, tisn't painful, I had my eyebrows threaded once, for charity!
Tis somewhat less known, might be the answer
There is face creams that you can put on for 4 min. and wipe the hair away. They work pretty good. I use Nair
Use Boots facial removing cream. Very good and it only takes 5 mins.
you've pretty much covered all your options there. i'd say if you really want rid of it and don't want to wax or shave then you're just gona have to pay for electrolysis. don't know anything about laser removal but i'm sure it's similarly priced if not even more expensive
The best way is laser hair removal, (I've had my underarms done), it's painless and permanent. It is expensive but some salons may allow you to pay in installments or you could start saving up a little each week. Check out your local salons and the very best of luck to you.
Just an afterthought, it may be caused by a medical condition and seeing your GP could help.
laser removal!
try waxing
Laser Removal!
It's (apparently) painless. I understand that you have the process repeated a couple of times within 5-6 weeks of each other, after that it's gone and it's not coming back!
Not a clue on prices though - depends where you live and where you get it done but I would guess it's pricey - Your decision as to if it's worth it or not
You can either pluck or wax. Waxing at an approved location will give you a week clear of facial hair if you are darker haired like me. You may luck out and be hair free for up to 6 weeks. If you start shaving, your hair will be more difficult to control. good luck.
Threading. I get my eyebrows done like that. I definitely wouldn't use wax after a couple of bad experiences and this was in a beauty salon. They completely ripped my skin off.
Without a doubt laser treatment. Fairly painless and long lasting. Allthough for the rest of the day your face will be a little red, but worth it.
waxing, a professional on costs $100 but a cheaper 1 costs $50
Actually, I know two female relatives who shave their ';mustaches';. They use specially made razors for girls that are electric and very gentle on your skin. Make sure to moisturize!
Have you ever heard of tweezers? Use it. It seriously works!!
