i want to do a yogurt facial and it calls for plain yogurt.
will i get the same results if i use vanilla?
thankss. Is it okay to substitute vanilla yogurt for plain yogurt in a facial?
Studies show that anything, facials, rubs, lotions, etc. containing glucose(sugar) in the formula is bad for your skin. It clogs your pores and can result in a unsightly rash because of irritation. It's like how they say not to use anything containing sugar when having ';foreplay'; because it irritates the skin and causes yeast to rise to the surface ultimately causing a nasty infection. Same rules apply to your face because it is sensitive.
If you should have to use yogurt...make sure there is 0g of sugar in it or I wouldn't recommend using it.
Good Luck!Is it okay to substitute vanilla yogurt for plain yogurt in a facial?
no because plain yogurt has no sugar and is just like milk basically but vanilla yogurt has loads of sugar/sucralose or whatever so i think it could clog up your pores or not be good for your skin.
As long as it's organic vanilla yogurt.
