Can really tell how someone is by looking at their facial features?

Some people say you can %26amp; if anyone has any links to a good site to see if it can describe me. Do you think it's true?Can really tell how someone is by looking at their facial features?
Not really. It's the eyes that allways do it for me. Facial features say nothing about someone's personality. To a certain extent.


Though, when someone's for example gone thru a bit of a rough time because of, let's say, the death of a loved one :O :( you could see perhaps that the both sides of his/her mouth are hanging down. You know what I mean. ( I mean, they stay that way) Such things do sometimes show, a bit, how someone's been feeling in the past, or now even.


But it's allways the eyes. They show emotion and to me, it's very clear how a person really is just by looking at their eyes.


Though, when someone smiles a lot, You tend to really see the left and right sides of their mouth pointing up, in normal circumstances where they wouldn't be smiling or talking or w/e.Can really tell how someone is by looking at their facial features?

The common idea is that if your talking to someone there are certain expressions they make called micro-expressions for sometimes fractions of a second that show their true feeling. It goes to say our minds can be telling our bodies and faces to lie but there is this delay.





Of course good liers can overcome this with little to know facial expression and a lack of remorse. But eventually the more you ask the more you see a pattern in how they respond to certain questions.
If by facial features, you mean to include expressions it is usually doable if you know person very well. That isn't to say that you won't get it wrong on occasion because nobody pays close attention all the time. Some people are also very hard to read and are a bit irrational at times.
