Is there a facial cleanser that is not as harsh as Proactiv?

I'm currently using Proactiv and Cetaphil to wash my face and make up off at night. The problem is I still have break outs. Proactiv makes the break outs worse by over drying my entire face, and Cetaphil is a great cleanser, but doesn't clear up the existing acne.

My skin is combination and sensitive. Is there a 1 or 3 step system out there that works for people with skin like mine, that is affordable, and less harsh than Proactiv? Is there a facial cleanser that is not as harsh as Proactiv?
Dove products are great for sensitive skin. You can get these cheaply at any Walmart,Target,Rite Aid, etc. Aveeno is also great for sensitive skin and can be bought at the same stores as Dove. Both work great for cleansing too. I use Mary Kay face wash and have had no problems or break outs too.Is there a facial cleanser that is not as harsh as Proactiv?
omg! you soooooo have to try OBAGI skin care!!!!I LOVE IT. i was using proactiv and had the same responce you had!! i went to a dermatoligist ad she recommended me obagi i love it! they have one for dry skin and one for oily skin. its amazing i saw results in 2 weeks i had really bad breakouts thanks to proactic and obagi healed me skin. you can only get this at a dermatoligists office. if you go online to obagi.com you can find dermatolists in your area that sell obagi. trust you will not regret it. its expensive though but totally worthe the money ive been using it for a year and my skin is so clear sure i get a pimple now and then but who dosnt? i dont have the ugly breakouts though. my skin is controlled. i love it. its a three step process. i have the dry skin one which is a cleanser, lotion(its like a medicated lotion not harsh at all) and another lotion thats for calming your skin after the medicatd one. you onlyput the lotions on once a day(at night is best) and cleanse your face twice a day moring and night. good luck! if you try obagi i promise you you wont regret it!
avon has some great products for the skin. i have super sensitive skin and like you i continue to break out after started to use proactiv. in fact my face skin got worst. avon has different levels for different skin tones.

also neutregena (over the counter at drug stores), also work every well and you have the guarantee that if you dont like it within 30 days you can return the underused protion with your store receipt for a full refund.
Yes! Roc works great. The bottle with the red writing will controll blemishes and the moisturizer with the pink writing (calme) will reduce redness, sensitivity and even your skin tone. Each one is $20 a bottle but it's so worth it...

FYI Pro-active changes the pH balance of your skin which is why you're getting more breakouts
Use Dove!! It works amazingly for my skin. I used to have bad acne, and trust me when I say that Proactive is a waste of money!! All you have to do is go to a dermatologist. He can give you an oral antibiotic for your acne, and it'll clear up really fast, and it won't come back. I use a dove bar and take the pills and my acne cleared up in about 3 months. Good luck!
i think that you should try the neutorgena line called stress less. it works great. it removes acne w/o overdrying. give it a try.
you could try clean and clear that what i use...
